We were practicing how to punch today. well some were, others were fighting against themselves. I saw tris practicing how to punch and four was talking to her but I was watching Christina getting beat up but couldn't do anything.
"Stop, stop. I'm done" she said
"You need to stop?" Eric asked
She nodded
"Ok, let me give you a hand" he said and Christina took it
"Thanks" she whispered
"Alright everyone take a break" he called out

We were close to the chasm when Eric put his hand on Christina's back
"You feeling a little better" he asked once he was up on the railing
"Ya I'm fine" she said and just after the words left her mouth he grabbed her and pushed her over the railing but still hold her hand
"Grab the rail or don't" he said and let go of the hand that wasn't already on the rail
"You got three options, hang there and I'll forget your cowardliness, fall and die, or give up, but if you give up your out"
"Come on Chris" tris said
After a few more minutes Eric called out "time" and tris, nick and I helped her up

"Dauntless never give up"

"As dauntless we fight to protect every life inside the fence without fail. that's why we train you the way we do. to teach you not to give up. and to find out who has what it takes. even tho it's been quiet for years that could change at any moment. so we have to be ready for everything" four said while we were on the train to go to the fence

"What's out there" Tris and I said
"monsters" Chris said jokingly
"Amity farms" Al said
"No, I know but beyond that" Tris added
"Places that never recovered from the war"
"Do you know?" She asked four, he was beside me
"Let's just say the built the fence for a reason" he told us

When we got back to the compound we were throwing knifes. I was between drew and Peter. peter and I shot our knifes and they all landed inside the circle while drew missed a few. tris had three in the middle, Christina had none inside the circle but a few around it and will had one on the line. Al had none, his kept hitting the floor and Eric was behind him
"Everybody stop.stand in front of the target" Eric said
Al walked up to the target and Eric said
"blaze give me a hand here"
He said. I looked at Peter who was already looking at me, we became friends while throwing knifes, I walked up to Eric while he said
"Your gonna stand there while she throws those knifes and if I see you flinch, your out"
"What? Why do I have to do it" I asked
"Because if you don't your out too. one thing you will learn here is that orders are not options" he said and I took three knifes and got ready to throw I was About to let the knife go when Tris said
"Stop. anyone can stand I front of a target it doesn't prove anything"
"Then it should be easy for you to take his place" he said and Tris walked over to the target
"Same rules apply"

I threw the knife and it landed on the wooden board close to her right hip. I threw the other one and it hit the wooden board but it's time it was closer to her left shoulder. the last one landed In between her thighs. I looked at her with a I'm sorry look.
"Four, take a shot make it closer" Four took two knifes while I walked up to Peter who put his arm over my shoulder once I was beside him. one of fours shot was close to the top of her head and the other one nicked her ear
"Points for bravery stiff, but not as many as you just lost for opening your mouth. points for blaze too, that last one was close. now watch yourself, we train solders not rebels. alright we're done for today get out. blaze come here"
I said bye to Peter, drew, Molly (which I apologized for beating her but she said I had to so... were ok now) and nodding at Chris, Will, Al and Tris.

We walked with me until we reached the chasm he leaned over the railing so his arms were supporting him and then he started asking me questions
"How do you like dauntless so far?"
"I like it, I mean I feel like myself and not like I'm forced to be someone I'm not, like in abnegation"
"They forced you?"
"Well not physically, but I'm sure a few thought about it I mean, father's part of the government so he was embarrassed of me. they had to give me a peace serum a few times"
"You call him 'father' why not 'dad'?"
"He never really was a dad. Tris and Caleb do but not me"
"Do you know what divergents are?"
"Divergent? No, is that like a food or something?" I asked totally confused
Before he could respond we heard heels and multiple footstep and we saw Jeanine
"Prior. your Andrew Priors daughter, Briana. right?"
"It's just blaze now"
"Blaze, I like it. I see you followed your test results, despite your parents."
"I can't let them decide my own fate, if I were meant for something different"
"Wise words. I need to go but let me know if you ever need anything"
"I will"
Eric had to follow them so I went to the training room the see if I got a higher ranking because of today. once I got there Tris was looking at it too
