Rondeau: It's time to Live

It's time to live, so find your inner fight

From beings who are true, an angels' might.

Imbue your heart with tears, with passion give;

It's time to fold our passions plans to live.

We deal then die, an early dawn's new flight

Upon a hill we find our power's flight,

Immoral waves of clout will cause a blight,

While children's hearts will deem a realm festive,

It's time to live.

The fires, the passion of life are ablative,

Defined in hearts and beat inquisitive

In search for beings divine, the sprite,

Supernatural, powerful, forthright

Energy enlightens the darkest night,

It's time to live!

A.N. The painting is fresh off my easel and is titled, "Oh, Babe." This poem is dedicated to the life of my first cousin, Morris Ganaden who died Febuary 13th 2022.
