Rondeau: The Rain Will Fall

The rain will fall this day in streams,

And time permits eroded dreams;

Depressed? Then join the rude uncouth

In depths of altered skies of youth;

Who smiles beneath appalling themes?

My sins and puzzles flow up streams,

My sins unhooked in broad esteems,

And who am I, the Author's Truth?

The rain will fall.

I die awash in hope's esteems

Immortal soul, the sin blasphemes,

Awaits a free and deeper truth

Who knows the depth of sin? Vermouth

For me! I live in darkened dreams.

The rain will fall.
