Cohesive Backstory for Vine

Cause why not?

- Father dies when he's nine, house burns down, and Gier kidnaps and sa's Vine for years

- Vine kills Gier when he's sixteen with a pen (cause he's a badass) and runs away

- Wanders through towns making and selling dolls, saves up money to buy better materials

- His mental health fastly deteriorates, and Vine develops an eating disorder and several mental illnesses, including schizophrenia

- Begins hallucinating Gier's voice, which consistently taunts him and brings up all his bad memories

- Kills a woman and turns her into a doll. Forgets about it until he reads about it in an abandoned newspaper, and is horrified at first by what he's done

- As he slips mentally more and more, he feels less and less remorse for the women he kills and turns into dolls, viewing it as art

- At nineteen he heavily disfigures his face, taking an eye out and replaces it with a doll eye and puts stitches next to the right side of his mouth in a smile, not doing the other side because of the pain

- Wanders for years, until he meets Slender in his early twenties. Slender takes pity on him and takes him to the mansion

- Very standoffish at first, partly because he can't speak, read, or understand English. Also because he's afraid of being around people

- As he becomes better with English, he becomes attached to Jason and Laughing Jack. They become father figures to him

- At first they don't take kindly to him, assuming he's an annoying kid, though they eventually figure out, along with everyone else, that Vine's in his twenties

- Jason and LJ slowly piece together bits and pieces of Vine's past, just enough to understand his behavior and then become attached

- In his mid-twenties Gale arrives. At this point Vine is fluent in English. They become friends easily, because Gale is a lot more friendly and less intimidating than the others to him

- After a few months they start dating. At first Jason disapproves, not wanting Vine to get hurt, but eventually comes around

- Have their own version of a wedding when Vine's 27, which was a very happy occasion

- A few months later Misha arrives and Vine is tasked with teaching them English. At first they don't realize they're related, it takes several conversations for them to realize, but they're very happy when they find out, as they both assumed they were the last of their family

- Has not yet happened, but after a few years Vine officially recovers from his eating disorder with Gale and Misha's help
