"My hair done not wanna cooperate tonight" I sighed while brushing it back, seeing how the gel wasn't doing any justice, just causing it to curl up
Kyran, who I was on FaceTime with, laughed
"It's not funnyyyy"
"You should've came and lemme do yo ponytail for you"
"I must admit, you can do a good ponytail... but I think this one will be alright for tonight" I told him, finishing my ponytail and just let it curl up, frizz up or whatever
Once I finished I saw how Kyran was looking at me in the camera so I smiled
"What?"
"You cute"
"Thank you" I tried to say all normal knowing I was probably blushing like hell. I knew for a fact that I was once Kyran smirked, standing up off of his bed and walked away from the camera
"How you gonna walk away from the camera?"
"Hold up. You can't go 10 seconds without missing me?"
"No"
He walked back in the camera with his rolling tray and sat back down on the bed smiling as he started to roll himself a blunt
"When we going in our date?"
"What date?" I asked him, pushing my AirPods into my ear better
Kyran kept his eyes on his blunt
"Don't play stupid with me. You know what the hell im talkin bout"
I didn't know what to say so he started talking again
"Well since you mute all of a sudden, ima just tell you don't make no plans for next Saturday night"
"I'm glad you feel like you have the power to do that"
"I do" he finally looked in the camera again for a quick second before focusing on his blunt again as somebody knocked on his door
"Who is it"
"Me" I could hear kinsley's distinctive voice say before walking into his room and must have just stopped at the door
"Your brother is looking for you" she told Kyran and he looked at her weird
"What brother?"
"The only brother you got dumbass"
"Hendrix home too!" I asked, knowing Kyran had his AirPods in as well
"I guess everybody coming home this weekend... I'm coming"
"Well hurry up cause momma won't let nobody but Hendrix eat until you come on"
"Perks of being the favorite" I told him and me chuckled while sitting his tray to the side and picked up his now rolled blunt and a lighter
"And they hate it"
"I would too.... Well I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow"
"Ight then. And remember, next Saturday"
I smiled "sure Kyran" I assured him before hanging up the phone and took my AirPods out, sitting them both down hearing loud talking and laughing
"Is that my brother?" I muttered to myself while leaving the room, hurrying down the long ass hallways and finally ended up in the kitchen where my brother was with a smile on his face cracking jokes with our parents
