Chapter 10: The Academy of Magic part 2

(Note: I did a little grammar review on my previous chapter)

Imperial Academy of Magic, some minutes later.

After a few minutes princess Sefy came back from the girl's dormitory with a blonde girl following her.

The blonde girl appeared to be confused and said: "Hey Sefy! Why did you drag me so suddenly? I was about to go to the cafeteria and have lunch."

"Sorry Cassiria. There are some people that I want to introduce to you..." Said Sefy.

After having said that the princess started to tell everything to Cassiria and she was simply amazed to hear such a strange story.

"Even if it's you that is telling this story I have some difficulties to believe in "other worlds" and things like that. "

"Would you like me to prove it to you ?" Said Giovanni.

Then he started to bring out from his pocket a device.

"This thing is called "smartphone" and we could use it for communication and to take pictures that we call "photos"." He explained.

Then he took the device and took a photo of Cassiria and Sefy.

"Look at the smartphone and you will see something interesting..." Said Giovanni.

"Amazing! It's like a painter created a portait of us in mere seconds !" Said Cassiria.

"The power of science strikes again." Said Giovanni.

"Are we sure that this is not some magic ?" Said Cassiria.

"I have read a lot of books about all the three types of magic and I have never seen a magic that could do a thing like that." Said Valentinia.

"You are one of the academy's best students and so I trust what you are saying." Said Cassiria.

"So, it seems that there really is a world without magic but that could do incredible things even without it." Said the blonde girl.

"You are amazed by science and we are amazed by magic." Said Giovanni.

"We are seeing that a thing that we believed to be only a myth is real and I bet that every scientist on my world would go crazy if I told them that magic is real." He continued.

"I can't way to study how magic works in order to explain it with the laws of physics, a scientific discipline that uses math to study things like motion, heat, ..." He ended.

"It will be like when Galileo and Copernicus discovered that the Earth orbited the sun. A real revolution!" Said the historian.

"Yeah, yeah... All of this is very interesting but we are here for a reason. We would like to meet your father, Cassiria, in order to start diplomatic relations between Italy and the empire." Said colonel Solini.

"Sure, I will guide you to his castle." Said Cassiria.

"I will also tell the castle's chefs to prepare lunch for everyone." She said.
