September 2027: unknow location, somewhere on Earth.
"The motherfucker finally talked." Said a man wearing a black suit while lighting a cigarette.
"It took a little bit, ops... I meant A LOT, of pain but he finally let everything out."
"What did he say?" Asked the other agent.
"He said that he is working for an unknow organization under someone that is called the "demon lord"."
"Another isekai bullshit... Perfect." Replied the spy.
"Let's quickly fill the paperwork and report this mess to the higher ups ASAP."
"What a pain in the ass..." Ended the other man.
UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY, middle of september.
"Our spies managed to make contact with the operatives inside Lord Selfrud's palace and it seems that his chamberlain took his place while he is commanding the armies."
"He is not being "normal"and it's like the time when the general of the Lomor Empire attacked Earth in a suicide mission. His daughter Cassiria and the court is currently being held captive." Stated the General Secretary.
"It seems also that the ones that control the empire after the coup belong to an organization lead by a "demon lord" according to our agents." He continued.
"What is the situation of the war between the Lomor Empire and the Solat Alliance?" Asked the italian representative.
"It seems that it reached a stalemate but the absence of the emperor's personal army will soon make the forts in the Usol Mountains collapse."
"The will soon also ran out of supplies." He finished.
"If we don't act now the situation will be worse. I'm tired of waiting and of this stupid "007" shit." Shouted the USA representative.
"I have to agree with my american "friend". We have to take at least Castir and show some backbone to these renaissance assholes." Shouted the russian one.
"Watch your mouth gentlemen! We're in the UN assembly right now and I won't tollerate these bad words." Scolded the secretary.
"I agree with USA and Russia." Shouted the italian one.
"Let's kill these motherfucker and find out more about this demon asshole!" Shouted the assembly in a choir.
Then the secretary sighed and surrendered to the general mood of the room.
"All right, let's vote the proposal of an official military campaign aganist the empire."
The proposal passed with flying colors after every representative talked to their respective governement in private and the G20 held a special meeting after the votation ended.
End of september.
The siege force was 5k men strong and many drones flew above Castir, away from the wyvern patrols, in order to scout the defences.
"It's mandatory to not cause civilians deaths. We will have to expose the true nature of the chamberlain and not being seen as an invading invasion force." Explained general Coppelli.
"Our agents in the lord's palace will also take the caos generated as an opportunity to liberate Selfrud's court.
The same night...
Come folgore dal cielo (like lightning from the sky).
Folgore parachutist brigade's motto.
The italian parachutist brigate "Folgore" launched 30 men inside the town of Castir from a C-130 (away from the air patrol's sight) with the task to make contact with some agents there in order to disrupt the enemy's command structure and make the siege easier.
They killed some guards and captains creating smaller fights in the town that allerted the garrison.
One of the tasks was to set an abandoned bulding on fire in order to give the assault signal to the army.
"Let's go guys!Let's kill these imperial assholes one more time!" Shouted a british soldier.
Then a Challenger 2 british tank fired some rounds at the city walls destroying a large chunk of them and killing some soldiers guarding it.
The breaking of the wall captured the unwanted attention of some wyvern riders that started charging the Earth coalition only to be met with heavy AA fire from american M-SHORAD anti air vehicles.
More than 100 wyvern's dead bodies together with their riders then started raining from the sky.
After this "show" , some Apache helicopters flew towards the city killing many soldiers and destroying the balistas and the cannons protecting the walls.

After killing approximately 200 soldiers, a platoon of US marines took the opportunity and charged inside the city's perimeter engaging some musketeers that started firing on them.
Meanwhile, Castir's magic academy.
The academy's students were sleeping soundly when the noises from the violent battle awoke them from their slumber.
"What's going on professor?" Asked a student that rushed out of his dormitory.
"It seems that those filthy otherworlders finally attacked." He replied.
"It's my duty as a mage and as an empire's citizen to pretect the people of Castir. I heard from the chamberlain that the otherworlders are violent barbarian that use strange machines and an advanced magic."
"I don't know... I heard from Cassiria and from a friend of her, that commoner whose name I don't recall, that they are very advanced and far from uncivilized." Replied a female student that approched the two.
"Maybe you heard Cassiria wrong and for the commoner... Do you believe a him/her more than a member of the court of our great lord Selfrud?" Shouted the professor.
"Our lord, where is he? Why he isn't here to protect us?" Asked the same female student.
"He went patrolling the border. The lord feared the alliance more than the otheworlders." Replied the professor.
"See? If he fears them more there must be a reson." Let's take some of the best students and help defending the city." Shouted the male student while more gathered around him.
They didn't know they were making the worst mistake of their entire life.
(Expectations: weak barbarians so Solat Alliance = bigger threat. Reality: Earth is more reasonable than them and doesn't really want to conquer the empire)
