Chapter 15: History is Being Made

Saturday 10 october 2026, near the portal's entrace, 10:00 pm.

It was a very warm day and the temperature was about 20 Celsius Degrees (68 Fahrenheit) and the world's main tv stations like the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera were all there to record this historical moment, the meeting between two different worlds, and no one wanted to loose a moment of it.

Of course, The Internet was going crazy and discussions about this incoming event were the main topic.

The Earth's delegation was composed by 8 people of the team that ventured into the other world (they arranged the meeting during the lunch with the lord), by some observers of the UN, by Italy's Foreign Minister and by some representatives of the EU and NATO.

The Italian Army was also present there with 200 soldiers and an Ariete Tank to watch over the meeting.

News reporter's speech:

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to broadcast one of the most important moments in the history of our species: the meeting with another world."

"We always thought that our first meeting with extraterrestrial intelligent life would have been with some small little green men descending from their spaceships but instead we are about to see some things that Tolkien would have been very happy to see."

"The history of the world is about to change and if the rumors are true we might see some real magic."

Everyone in the world who had access to televisions or Internet was watching this moment live regardeless of their time zone.

15 minutes laters.

"It seems that something is moving inside that mist that is rumored to be the famous portal." Said a news reporter.

"Yes, I see some figures there." Said another reporter.

"There seem to be some girls in their 20's wearing 1700's/victorian clothes, an elegant man with a monocle, a man with grey hair, a warrior with a huge sword, some soldiers and wait... is that an elven maid with green hair?" The reporter continued.

So, the people from Lomor started to approach the Earth's delegation (that was wearing face masks) and with everyone 's surprise the lomorians started to speak first...

"Hi "people from Earth". My name is Valentinia Rusolic. Nice to meet you." Said a redhead girl.

"Wait. She can speak italian? But how?" Everyone tought at that moment.

"If you are wondering why I can speak italian it's beacuse when the first people from Earth came to my world I used a translation spell that gave me the knowdlege of italian language." She said.

"It's a spell that only few people can use and I casted it on everyone in the Lomor's delegation." She continued.

So at that moment a UN delegate decided to speak...

"Can you show us some other spell ? On Earth magic doesn't exist and so we're very curious about it."

"Sure. I'm very skilled with the special type of magic." Valentinia said.

So Valentinia started to chant a spell and teleported herself a few meters away and at the sight of the magic performed by her the Internet exploded...

"WTF guys ? Real freaking magic!."

"Let's hope that Sauron doesn't exist in that world..."

"Truck - Kun. I think I don't think I need you anymore given we have the portal."

(For those who don't know, Truck - Kun is a term used to describe the truck that always kills and reincarnates people in the isekai animes.)

In the meantime, Giovanni was astonished by the magic performed by Valentinia despite having seen Lomor's magic before but he still tried to make sense of all that using science.
