The next week passes in a blur of work, and more work, and just a little more work, Aaron's been pushing everyone more than usual...including me
I'm exhausted, to say the least,
"Did you finish all the paperwork?" Aaron asks stepping into my office,
I hum barely keeping my eyes open, I grab the paperwork I completed and slide it over to Aaron without so much as looking at his beautiful face because it's way too much work to lift it,
"I also scheduled all the meetings that you asked for," I say
I run my hands down my face in pure exhaustion, I feel Aaron walking over to my side and lifting me off the chair than sitting me on his lap so I'm straddling him,
"That was a mistake Mr. Huxley because now I'm taking a nap on your lap" I mumble into his neck as I cuddle closer
"Tired?" He squeezes my neck while letting out a small chuckle
"Yeah you big dummy, you're overworking everyone this week" I sigh focusing on his warmth that just makes sleep hurdle towards me as the second's pass,
"I'm sorry sunshine...I have my reasons" he says kissing the top of my head
"Care to share those reasons?" I mumble
"You'll find out later, it's getting late you wanna go out to eat?" He asks
I barely manage to laugh "Aaron we have been up since 5:30 am and it's 5:00 pm all I want to do is crawl into bed and eat a pizza or something and take a nap"
"Alright then that is what we will do," he says stroking my hair
"Can we just sit here for a second..." I mumble already a blink away from deep sleep,
I feel the vibrations of his laugh run through my body warming me and putting a smile on my face
"Sure sunshine," he says

I feel us moving, beeping, and doors shutting
I open my eyes to see us in the car, I Look over at Aaron who's getting in the car, and putting his seat belt on
"You're awake" he smiles a little starting the car
"How long did I sleep for?" I yawn
"About an hour and a half," he says pulling out of the parking spot
Since we drove together to work because I'm still not fully used to having my own car, I don't have to worry about my car being left here,
"So you just sat on my chair with me while I was sleeping for an hour and a half?" I ask with a small smile playing on my lips
