The Boy Next Door

•Chapter 23•

I feel a sharp pain in my leg just thinking about that night.

I hold on to Enzo tightly I'm pretty sure I'm squeezing the life out of him.

I lean my head on his back because I'm short so yeah. After a while we are finally at my house. I get off of his bike and give him my helmet. "Go change my love. I just need to grab something from my house." I nod and start walking. Then I remember something I turn around. "Enzo?" He looks up at and hums in response. "Um what do I wear?"

"Nothing casual but nothing fancy either." I nod "okie thank you."

"Anytime love."

I head inside and went upstairs to my closet so I can see what to wear. I chose to wear and plaid spaghetti strap dress that was a light orange color with a white turtle neck underneath I pair it with some white converse and I go to the bathroom to do settle makeup and to do my hair which I just have it down and curl it to. Then I put a headband on that match my dress and I put strands of hair out. Then I put small hoop earrings along with my ring Neera and I have and a necklace with my name on it.

I go down stairs and decide I don't like the shoes so I change them with my Air Forces with a hit a light orange.

Okay so I look nice. I grab everything I need and head out. When I walk out I saw that Enzo now has his car instead of his bike. He didn't change still in his suit just with no tie or jacket.

Enzo is leaning on the car on his phone. When I get a little closer he looks up and smiles.

"You look amazing my love." I blush " thank you kit Kat." He hugs me tightly like there's no tomorrow. He lets go and opens the door for me. He makes sure I'm buckle in before he closes the door.

"So where are we going?" He glances at me and then looks back at the road. "Somewhere." He says with a smirk. "Your mean." I grab his hand so there are now lace together. " Am not." He says he pauses for a bit then says. "Baby it's a surprise." I groan "Okay as long as it a good surprise." He looks at me then looks back at the road.

"Do you think I would plan a bad date." I giggle and shake my head no. I bring a lace heads to my lips and kiss his hand. "No kit Kat I think it's going to be a wonderful surprise." I look at him and he is smiling. Yay I did that.

"Baby" he hums in response. "Did you know that it's illegal to bring a bear to the beach in Israel." I look at him. We stop at a red light and he turns to me.

"What the fuck did you get that from." He says laughing " I don't know I got bored one day and look up weird facts." I said giggling. "Oh my God." He said rolling his eyes. "Your welcome." I said smiling at him.

The light turns green and we started moving again. "How long til we are there?" I ask. "About 20 minutes why love."

"I just wanted to play some music." He hands me his phone. "Here play anything you want."

I start to play 'She all I want to be' by Tate McRae. After a bit we were finally there. We were at a beach it was beautiful the stars shining as bright as possible and the moon off to the side making the ocean glow.

Enzo got out and open my door for me. "Thank you." He nods and gives me his hand. I lace them together and he leads the way.

"Close your eyes." I was hesitant but do as I'm told. About 2 minutes later he say "ok open them." I was scared so it took me a bit but then I finally open them. "Woah." My eyes were wide.

He had set out a blanket with lanterns on each end. He had pillows and other blankets everywhere and a little picnic basket to the side.

"Do you like Chinese food?" I look at him all smiley "yes."

"Good." I laugh. We walk over to the beautiful area. " Enzo this is amazing.
Thank you!"

"Your welcome my love." While we ate we talked about random stuff and he would tell me jokes here and there and I would laugh til I couldn't breathe anymore.

Enzo gets up and he reach his hand out so I can take it. Of course I take his hand and we walk around the beach.

"Faith?" I look at him. "Yes?" He stops in his tracks and faces me. "I have a question."

"What is it?" I look at him confuse. "So I been wanting to ask this for awhile now but I didn't know how to say it." He took a breath before continuing. "Faith Kingdom will you be my girlfriend?." I smile and I think I started crying. "Yes." I jump into his arms and he spins me around.

He put me down and kisses me passionately. I smile god I love this man. We break apart for air he leans his forehead to mine while looking into my eyes. "I have one more thing love."

"Enzo I- this is enough you took me out on the beach and ask me to be your girlfriend I think that's enough." He shakes his head no. He put his hand in his pocket and took out a black rectangular box. He hands it to me and I look at him.

I slowly open the box to see what's inside. I gasp because how beautiful it is. It was a necklace that had an gold elephant with me and Enzo initials.

"Thank you Kit Kat." He smiles at me. "Your welcome."

"Can you put it on?" He nods and I hand it to him. I lift up my hair so it's out of the way and I feel the cold chain reach my skin. Once he was done I look down at it. It's perfect.

Enzo then pushed up my glasses and he wraps his hands around my waist to keep me warm because it was freezing outside. We look at the beautiful ocean view smiling.

After everything we went to his house.

Luckily I had some clothes at his house so I went to his closet and grab my cream color sweatpants and one of his hoodies.

When I open the door Enzo was all ready on his bed looking at his phone. I walk over to the nightstand and took off my jewelry and glasses I carefully put my necklace Enzo got down on the nightstand to. Then I walk over to his side and just fell on him. He laughs at me and pulls me more on the bed.

"Sleepy me love." I nod. He puts his phone away and open his arms I gladly go on top of him and lay my head on his chest and hug him making sure he's close. He runs his left hand through my hair and the other was on my lower back.

I soon fell asleep hearing. "Sweet dreams my love." And he kissed the top of my head.
