•Chapter 14•

I woke up still in my clothes from last night. But my hair was downs and my shoes were off. Cart- or Lorenzo I have to see what he wants to go by. I'll talk to him about that.

You would think I would be upset at him but to be honest I am not. Im really an understanding person. I can see why he has been hiding this. But he is not that bad as people say he is. They just need to get to know him.

I go to my bathroom so I could take off my makeup that is most likely messed up.

When I look in the mirror I was shocked. I didn't have any makeup on. He took it off. For me. I smiled to myself. See he is a sweet person.

I went to get in my comfy clothes and also shower.

After a much need hour long shower I went to my closet.

I picked out a nice cream color sweat pants and nude cropped tank top. With a nude plaid shirt.

I wanted to go to a coffee shop. So I grabbed my keys and my laptop because I want to look somethings up. I went out to my car. And took off.

I arrived at the little shop. I waited in line for about a minute til finally it was my turn.

"Hello! Welcome to Rise and Shine what can I get for you my dear." The middle age man said with a smile.

"Hello can I get a white mocha cappuccino please with two chocolate croissants please."

"Of course!"

I payed for it and waited by the counter. After a few minutes it was done I took it and went to an empty seat. I took out my laptop. And just did online shopping.

Not to long I felt someone presents in front of me. I looked up to see him. Man I never get tried seeing those gorgeous eyes. I smiled and closed my laptop.

"Hey Kit Kat."

"Hey beautiful."

"So what are you doing here?" He look into my eye like he trying to figure out something. Then finally he spoke " can't a guy get a coffee?" He laugh little. " I mean of course." I said smiling.

"Hey uh Kit Kat I have a question."

"What is it darling?" I took a breathe. " What do you want me to call you. Like do you want me to say Carter or Lorenzo?"

" Whatever you want my love." I looked at the window then looked back at him. " Enzo I'll call you Enzo." He smiled then nod.

"So what where doing on your computer." He ask " oh just online shopping." He raised his eyebrows. " Okay weirdo"

" Hey it is not weird! Let a girl do something for herself. It is part of selfcare" He laugh.

We stay silent for a bit til he broke it. " Well I need to go but I hope to see you soon." He got out of his seat he walk to me and kissed me. He pulled away. " Bye" then he started to walk out.

I look over the window and saw my father. I still see Enzo this in the cafe.
"Enzo." I call he turns around quickly. He start walking towards me. "What is it. What happened." I point to the man standing in a blue shirt and loose jeans on with work boots on. He looks at him and studying him. Then looks at me.

"Pack up." I did as he said. He put an arm around my waist and walks out with me. I take a deep breath. My father looks at me then at Enzo then me again. He looks angry.

I got home safely. And now I here just minding my damn business.

Gosh Im so fucking bored.

I pick up my phone and called my bestie.

I told her to come over and bring snacks. I thought that maybe we should have a sleepover.

After an hour I heard the doorbell.

I ran downstairs and open the door. "Hey bitch

"Hey!" I hugged her and we both went to the kitchen. "Damn I knew you were rich but not this rich." I laugh.

"Thank you?"

"What should we do."

"Watch a movie duh." She nod.

"Can we watch After I really want to watch it and can we watch all of them." I nod I love after. "I am going to get the snacks ready."

Diana went to the living room and I made the popcorn. I then got the candy out and chips. I put it all on a servings tray then I grab drinks. Water, tea, juice and sodas.

"Looks good!" Diana said.

"I know." I go and grab the remote and put Netflix on. Then search up After and boom now we are watching it.

"Okay so what if the Russian come in through the back" Ace said. I looked at him like he grew two heads.

"What the fuck do you mean so what. They could kill all my men if they go through that way. We need someone there. I can't afford people getting killed."

"You know you say that yet you have a lot of money."

"It doesn't matter about the money no one can dye!" I yelled. "Okay okay I get it I'll tell Ryan to be prepared for anything." I nod.

Andres come in. " Hey boss man. What is the plan."

"We have one of the Russians men in the basement right now so I would like you to warm him up. Ill kill him tomorrow. I have to do a lot of paperwork right now and go to a meeting. I am trying to find a guy right now so if you can do that and clean up it good."

"Sure thing boss man." I rolled my eyes. " Don't call me that."

"Oh well still am bye." Stupid ass.

I go up to my office and sit at my desk. I have a lot to do. But I want to find Faith's father the most right now I dont care about the Russians right now. I want to see what this guy wants. And why he is back in town. I can tell Faith is terrified of him.

I want to find out why but I dont want to push her so. I just going to find him and lock him up. I don't want her worry about him anymore.

So I get to work. I texted Ryan to help with me and to being over documents.

No even a minute went by and I heard a knock.

"Come in." Ryan opens the door.

"Hey Lorenzo I have the documents. For a Mr Noah Kingdom."

"Give." He hands them to me and walks out.

Not much help but it will have to do. Inside the fold it had a picture of him so I'll do some image searches and hope for the best. Well actually I'll ask Ryan he'll have more hope.

I tell Ryan what to do and head to my bike so I can go home and sleep.

After about 20 minutes I got home. I walked in and saw CoCo wanting for me. So cute.

I feed him and made a sandwich for me. I wasn't that hungry.

After I ate that I went upstairs and grab clothes for me. And went to the bathroom to take a shower. After that got in to black sweatpants and a white hoodie and went on my bed and fell asleep. God this has been a long day.
