"Peter it's been 2 days since we last saw each other. You can handle another day." (Y/n) said on the call as they laid in bed. "I know but I already miss you. You're so nice to hug." He said. (Y/n) hugged the small (f/c) (f/c) plushie in their hands, giving a small yawn.

"It's 1 in the morning. Get some sleep." Peter advised. "I guess." (Y/n) checked how long they've been on the call. "We've only talked for 5 hours? It feels like 20 minutes." They closed their eyes as they heard clicking from Peter's end of the call. "You're barely making it home?" They asked and responded back with a hum. "Ah, okay. I think I'll go sleep now. Night, love." (Y/n) smiled as their eyes grew heavy.

"Good night, darling." They could hear him smile through his words. Once they hung up the call they immediately fell asleep. They were so going to wake up late for work but it was worth it to talk to Peter on his free time. It may be toxic to want to be with him but God, they felt so happy in his arms.

Peter stared down at his phone, their wallpaper being (y/n) smiling as he kissed their cheek. Just remembering taking that photo on their day out made the butterflies in his stomach flutter around.

He let out a small sigh before pulling his hoodie off. The dark dimly lit apartment was hard to navigate through. Considering the wine bottle that smelled terrible as if they were shoved up somewhere it shouldn't belong. Peter scowled, moving through the musty apartment with its curtains drawn closed. It's concerning how no one filed an odor complaint or a noise complaint from the TV static that could make a deep sleeper rise from their bed in a heartbeat. He shut the door, locking it before shoving a chair underneath the doorknob.
