When I saw this prompt for the challenge, I knew immediately that I wanted to explore it a bit because it leaves open the question, what is a family? Picture This was and always will be a story dear to my heart and Bea's struggle mapped on perfectly with this prompt so she's the one I wanted most to write about. If you haven't read it, this may not make sense. But it might be worth a read any ways.

"Bea! How're you? Haven't heard from you in a while now. Been busy?"

"Very. Who knew starting a business could be so hard? Oh wait, I knew. Remind me why I did this?"

"Because you're brilliant and you need to help everyone in the world be just as brilliant."

"Shut up, Liam. Anyways, I called to ask what your plans are coming up next week. I was hoping we could do a dinner together, all of us. On the 22nd?"

"Sorry Bea, I really am. But we've got so little time between promo bits, I've filled it up with family and spending time with Sophia."

"Oh, okay, alright. That's - I totally get it. That sounds wonderful. Have a good Christmas Liam!"

"Happy Christmas, Bea."

"Louis, I've been ringing for ages. Are you okay?"

"Fine, yeah. I'm just spending time with the family and it gets crazy. I didn't even hear my phone."

"Oh. You're up in Doncaster already?"

"Yeah, me and El came up ahead of time because we didn't have anything going on in London and wanted to spend as much time as we could with our loved ones, you know?"

"Yeah, right. Totally. Um, I hope you have a great time. And Happy Birthday, Louis."

"Thanks Bea. Enjoy your Christmas."

"Sorry, Bea, I don't have much time to talk. What's going on?"

"I didn't mean to interrupt -"

"Don't worry, Bea. What d'you need?"

"I was just wondering if you were free on the 22nd? I was thinking of doing a bit of a dinner for Christmas, and I know it's a little late notice but you can bring Perrie and it'll be fun... Zayn? You still there?"

"Sorry, sorry. Perrie and I are shopping. It's crazy out here."

"'Tis the season."

"You've got that right. Sorry, did you say the 22nd?"

"Yeah."

"Wish I could, babe, but we're supposed to be going up north to see Perrie's family on the 23rd. I don't think we can manage everything. I'm sure you know how it is. You're going up to Holmes Chapel, aren't you?"

"Yeah, but I -"

"I've got to go Bea. I'm so sorry. We'll catch up in the New Year, yeah?"

"Sure, I - Zayn? Hello?"
