1:42 am, last day of summer break.
less then 6 hours before aleia goes to a place where she doesn't know anyone and has to socialize...ew
tossing and turning under her duvet, the girl couldn't fall asleep.
throwing it to the side she flipped out of her bed, going to her window sill with a pillow and blanket she grabbed from her now messy bed.
opening the curtains and sitting down she rested herself on the wall incasing the window, her pillow there to soften it.
cuddling up into the blanket and looking out the window, her eyes traveled to the blond boy, sitting in his chair also looking up in to the star light sky.
Aleia grabbed her phone from the bedside table, which was quite the feat to be honest and texted Tommy.

"what do you want" tommy said his voice groggy from being tired
"i'm making it my mission for you to fall asleep"
he looked at her with a suspicious look
"go to u're bed, i'm gonna bore you to death with stories until you fall asleep" she smiled
tommy did as he was told, but the weird and interesting stories of her and dristas or amandas adventured through the outskirts of florida didn't put tommy to sleep.
"you're to nosy, you'll never fall asleep if you continue to ask questions" aleia said jokingly scolding the slightly younger boy
he chuckled quietly
"don't you sing?" tommy asked
"yes.." she replied slightly suspicious of the questions
"sing me a song"
"hmm, i'll sing you a lullaby, like the child you are"
"we're the same age!" he yelled quietly to not wake up his parents
"yea yea" she waved her hand before grabbing the acoustic guitar gently
"so do you want to hear it or not?" she asked
"no i do i do"
"okay then, don't judge me my voice is tired"
her finger strummed over the stings and her deep-ish for a girl voice started singing.
as she sang, tommy did nothing but look at her, her dark brown hair laying messily on her shoulders, the big black hoodie drowning her. her voice flowing so perfectly. he was mesmerized
as she finished the song her eyes met his once again.
"woah did you write that?"
"yeah! yeah i did actually" she said putting her guitar to the side.
"it's really good"
"thank you tommy" she sighed "okay you got you're lullaby, i'll see you tomorrow?"
"yeah, but i'm not waiting for you" he joked
"okay okay" she chuckled "goodnight tommy"
"goodnight aleia" they both smiled at eachother before ending the call.
aleia crawled in to her bed. thoughts of the conversation flew through her brain, and fake scenarios lulling her to sleep.
