Ch 49: Comes Together

Today is my 24th birthday and it feels good to wake up in my own bed instead of a twin bed. I was finally finished The Heal Her program and I have a different perspective of life. Although it's my birthday I am a little bummed that I have none of my real parents in my life to wish me another birthday but I'm gonna try not to let that ruin my day.  I slowly opened my eyes to the beam of the sun I my face. I turned to the side to see a bunch of bags, cards, and flowers on my bed. I smiled quickly getting up to open my gifts. I grabbed the flowers smelling them and reason the note from Chres.

"Happy Birthday Love, 

I'll see you later, Be good" I placed the bouquet of flowers down and picked up the next gift that I saw. I heard the door open and it was my little brother Mason running in my room. "Blake" he shouted.

"Hi honey" I smiled giving him a tight hug. "I missed you so much"

"I missed you more Mase, how'd you know I was in my room" I giggled. "Auntie told me you were in there but I didn't believe her" she said.

"I see, where'd she go? I asked. "They went to the store as usual" she said. I looked at my phone pulling it from my charger. With a bunch of text messages. "Are you feeling better? He asked.

"Much better"

Bre quickly came in running up on my bed. "Sis" she smiled hugging. "Hi, baby I missed you so much" I said hugging her kissing her cheeks. These were practically my children. That month away from them was dreadful but I'm glad I'm back home. I opened my bag and it was a pair of shoes. I looked at the tag and it was from Milan. I haven't talked to her in like 2 weeks plus she's out of town. I heard the door open and I knew it was my aunt and uncle coming in. "Come on" I said getting from out of my bed. I ran down the steps and hugged my aunt and uncle. "Well the birthday girl is up, the big 24" my uncle said. "Thank you so much for the gifts, thank yall so much for everything" I said.

"You're welcome honey now come on we brought breakfast"

I laid on the bed while Jay and Jacob we're painting on my belly. This was so fun and ticklish. Jacob was really focused painting followers. While Jay on the other hand was swirling what looked like clouds.

"What's that Jay? I laughed. 

"Cotton" he said with his little innocent voice. "It's clouds Jay" Jacob laughed.

"That's your son" I sighed laughing. "But clouds look like cotton candy"

"You're right Jay I thought the same when I was little. Aww your just growing up on me getting all visual and stuff" I whined. "Daddy when is my sister coming" he said.
