A week later
All of my bros were in my room talking to me. There were a bunch of get well cards and balloons all over my room like I was a kid or something. Blake was in the kitchen with my mother which was cool so we could catch up on things.
"I still can't believe they did that to you" Jamal our assistant said. "I know, he ain't nothing but a pussy ass nigga he felt threatened so of course he shot"
"Niggas these days can't even use their hands no more they gotta bring the whole squad or use a gun that's punk shit. When we used to fight we used our hands" Jacob said
"Exactly" Jamal said. "So when you gon let me see my god daughter" I asked. "Man whenever you want, Noni is going crazy and we need all the help we can get "he chuckled. "How are yall? I asked , I'm always curious of their relationship because It's so damn entertaining.
"She's driving me crazy, like I'm legit about to start dating "
"Yeah right" I said. "Look it ain't about me it's about you getting better" Jake said

I was in the kitchen with Andrea, and it was weird as hell. I haven't talked to her since our little disagreement. I threw the pizza boxes in the trash can while she was watching me.
"You know I really appreciate you taking care of my son" she said helping me clean up. "Of course, I mean he's done a hell of a lot for me and I love him so of course I would"
"Yeah, most of these females run when problems happen between them and Chres"
"Well I'm far from them, I was faced with a lot of adversity too so it was nothing to me when it happened "
She sat back down and crossed her arms "I heard and I respect you. I actually like you Blake and I'm sorry if I came off a little too judgemental the last time we encountered each other. It's just as a mother especially a black mother you just worry about your children and I just want the best for him you know. He works hard and I don't want anyone using him "she expressed and I felt better, I never thought she would say this.
"It's fine , I understand , I have my little brother Mason and I would probably act the same way once he starts dating" I chuckled.
"Welp, I have a tea party to be going to so I will see you when I see ya" she said. "Alright have fun" I rolled my eyes as she walked away. She was so damn prissy and dainty she went in there to kiss Chres goodbye.
Once she left, I went back in his room "Is it safe to come on" I asked knocking on the door.
"Yes" they laughed.
I opened the door handing him his pill and a glass of water. "Here take your medicine" I handed it to him.
