* You had gone against Joel's wishes and took her horseback riding

* The sun wasn't even beginning to rise as you two mounted your horses

* You rode along for what felt like hours, showing Ellie the same sights she'd seen a million times before

* Ellie, though, despite loving hanging out with you, was a bit agitated because she didn't want Joel to jump her for disobeying him

* It seemed to be forgotten as you rode up to the cliff overlooking Jackson, the sun understanding the assignment and starting rise, signalling that soon the whole city would be hustling and bustling about

* You took in the fresh air and beautiful site, before you smiled at Ellie causing her heart to flutter

* "Do you know why I always ask you to do things Joel doesn't like?"

* "What was that?" You ask with an innocent smile, turning your head slightly away from the sunset

* "Yeah, I know. We should get back now. Do you wanna race? Loser has to tell Joel that we blamed his broken vase on Jesse."
