"What if I make an even bigger tit out of myself?" Mags asked, tightening her arms around her best friend. She could already feel her heart beating in her ears and her throat becoming dry at the thought of him not liking her, although it clearly seemed like he already did.
"You're not going to make a tit out of yourself. You're already a tit." Juno smiled and Magnolia rolled her eyes with a chuckle. "And besides, you're getting him a free coffee, you're not going on a date."
"Sure fucking feels like we are." She pulled back from the hug and put a hand on her chest, feeling her heart beat tenfold it's usual rate. "I've never been this nervous to meet someone, Bugs, what's wrong with me? I don't get like this..."
Juno sighed, drawing her bottom lip into her mouth. She didn't know how to ease Magnolia's nerves. "You've had a crush on the man for years." She shrugged "its going to be strange. Anyway, enough pissing about, you have to go to work." She kissed Magnolia on the cheek and clapped her hands together, grinning. "Chop chop, you're going to be late."
Mags huffed, rolling her eyes "okay, mum."
"I love you, now go."
"I love you too."
