Tommy gulped, walking into the trial room for the 5th time. Every time he walked in the room he felt his heart automatically racing, knowing what was to come. Most of the trials before this required somebody to slip up for them to vote them out , but this time... he didn't know.

He didn't understand why Dream had told him that he was the blackened. Was he lying? Why did he want the trial to last a while? How could it help them get out? Why did he kill George? He knew that he was probably supposed to feel less nervous knowing who did it, but he was so confused it barely changed anything.

He couldn't imagine Dream killing George. And he didn't want to imagine how much pain George was in, in all ways- from betrayal and the burning heat. They found scratch marks and little hints at blue nail polish- and as far as Tommy was aware, burning alive takes a while to kill.

Techno pat his shoulder before they silently walked and stood in front of their podiums. It was ominous seeing so many portraits of all the dead replacing where they used to stand. He wished he got to know them all better before their horrid demise.

"Hee hee, hello students! How we feelin' on this lovely night? All wide awake? I sure hope so!" Gure-ga giggled from above them, sitting in the gap in the wall he always sat on. All he received were groans, and a quiet " fuck you " from Sapnap. He rolled his eyes.

"You're getting boring! Aren't these games so exciting?" he asked.

Tommy swore he could feel a hint of... sadness in his tone at the last question. But from what all that bear had done to them... Skeppy, everyone else, he didn't give the slightest shit.

"Geez, you really are tired... okay, well, let the fifth trial commence, I guess!" He smirked. Tommy turned around to look at all the students. Schlatt's eyes seemed glued to the floor, while Dream looked kind of... angrily calm, in a way.
