I started hearing beeping and people talking around me I slowly opened my eyes, everything was still a little blurry. I tried to sit up "naw ma lay back down" von came near me and laid me back down."the doctor told me you need to rest" he looked so tired and concerned, "the baby is good but you gotta take it easy for a few days" I just looked at him in confusion
"what happened?" I honestly couldn't remember anything besides going to the bathroom, everything is a blur to me. "you passed out" he said so coldly like it was fault "why did I pass out?" I was concerned because I wasn't feeling sick, I was fine the whole day. "some guy you was hanging with you, followed you to the bathroom." he sounded pissed now , "I noticed him following behind and I did the same when I seen where you was going"
he got up from his seat and walk to my bedside "I got there in time , I saw him slap you and I saw red after that" I could tell that pissed him off even more "hey I'm okay , the baby is okay" I assured him I looked into his eyes and they soften. "thank you for saving me von."I smiled at him , he return it with weak but lovely smile
"get some rest lil folks" I laughed because even in a moment like this he will always add his little ghetto ways. he walked back to the little couch in the room and laid down and closed his eyes. after a few minutes passed by , he fell asleep. I could stare at him all night von was sweet and caring guy, he always made sure I was straight even if we wasn't on the best of terms. "I know I'ma sexy ass nigga ma" I rolled my eyes and smiled "good night von." he let out a chuckle and closed his eyes, I watched him sleep for a little bit longer and I fell asleep.
