"Come on, would it hurt to have a rematch tomorrow?" Childe wined at his loss, not paying attention to his multiple bruises and cuts. "Yeah, it would" you replied, grabbing some bandages to cover them up. Childe said nothing as you mumbled on about not wanting to do anything else for the rest of the week, the tiredness slowly catching up to him. He closed his eyes whilst you patched up the scratches and bruises as a comfortable silence filled the air.
"I'm done, Ajax. You can go to sleep if you'd like, just make sure it's in our room and not here" you announced, a small smile on your face. He nodded and grabbed your arm, pulling you to your room whether you wanted it or not.
"Can you rest with me for a bit, comrade?" He asked, a slight-mischievous grin appearing on his face. "Don't call me comrade" you muttered before nodding at him.
He pulled you to the bed and hugged your back softly. For a moment, there was nothing but the sound of slow breathing. "Goodnight, love" he muttered; unaware it wasn't night.
