Chapter 7

Ellie(Pov)

Y/N was fast asleep in the passenger seat Joel was driving the truck i sat in the back reading my comic book i stole from Bill "Oh, man" i said loudly "Hey, what happened to sleeping?" Joel asked looking at me from the rear view mirror "Okay, i know it doesn't look like it, but this here is not a bad read" i sat up showing him the comic "Only one problem, Right here, To be continued" Joel smiled covering his hand with his mouth 

Ellie: I hate cliffhangers

Joel: Where did you get that? [Joel's shoots a glare at Ellie] 

Ellie: Uhh, back at Bill's i mean all this was just lying there 

Joel: [Points at Y/N] He was meant to look after you

Ellie: He did technically with this cream he rubbed on my wrist 

Joel: Y/N is full of surprises

Ellie: He's out cold

Joel: Not surprising the boy barely sleeps 

Ellie: Why?

Joel: Nightmares i think about his family

Ellie: What do you know about his family?

Joel: Not much i know he still has a sister out there 

Ellie: We talked about the tombstones on pistol and they represent his parents 

Joel: What else did you get from Bill's 

Ellie: Well

I was filled with excitement taking out a cassette "Here. this make you all nostalgic" i handed him the cassette "Y'know this is actually before my time" popping it into the and the music started playing "This is a winner though"  the music was soothing to listen to.

(Y/N Dream Pov)

I was skipping stones at my family's cabin we relocated here after the incident at the house my dad and mum were off with my sister fishing leaving me here like usual Chloe was in the cabin sleeping, The stone skipped across the water in perfect precision i guess you could say I've had a lot of practice.

i could hear yawning from down here at the lake Chloe was unlike anybody i had ever met she was so loose and easy going with everything she managed to keep me happy when i needed it most.

"Hey" Chloe said wrapping her arms round my waist she was the best girlfriend to have during these times "Hey beautiful, did you enjoy your sleep" i asked she gave a kiss and whispered in my ear seductively  " Would have been better if you had been in bed with me "I smirked "That gives me an idea".

I turned around picking her up over my shoulder giving her a smack on the booty "You bad girl" i fast walked to the house( Yous probably know what's about to happen so) 

(Dream Over) 

I opened my eyes to see Ellie fast asleep in the back seat "How long was i sleeping for" i asked rubbing my eyes "Good couple of hours" Joel replied with.

Y/N: You got anything to drink my throats parched 

Joel: [Hands over water bottle] there you go kid

Y/N: Thanks 

Joel: So what were you dreaming about?

Y/N: The past

Joel: It's never a great idea to relive the past

Y/N: Your talking about Sarah aren't you?

Joel: [Joel looks at Y/N] I never told you her name?

Y/N: Remember a few months ago we helped this couple with a baby get into the quarantine zone
