When I woke up, I didn't see Chloe next to me. I looked around and saw her sitting outside on the balcony watching the sunrise. I smiled and walked out and sat next to her
Tonight is the last day of the cruise. I didn't expect it to be this fun but it was. There was Christmas events and crafts for all the kids. It was nice to see them having so much fun together.
"Good morning beautiful" I sigh "Sleep well?"
"Yeah, but you snore pretty loud" she replies
"Rude" I chuckle
"What are we gonna do today?" She asks
Tomorrow is the last day of the cruise. I didn't expect it to be this fun but it was. There was Christmas events and crafts for all the kids. It was nice to see them having so much fun together. Tonight, there is a dance for adults only. I'm going to surprise Chloe later tonight and have my parents watch the kids while we go. I have really important questions I have to ask her and I think now is the right time
"Well, I thought this morning we could go to buffet and have breakfast with Santa for the kids, then come back here and give them showers and get dressed then I heard there is an arcade so I think they will be interested in that and we'll carry on from then" I say
"That sounds good" she smiles "You want the kids Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?"
"What?" I question
"Well, you want to spend Christmas with them, right?" She asks
"Obviously" I reply
"So, what day?" She asks again
"Both." I say
"Just pick a day" she sighs
"Both, I want to spend the holidays with my family" I state
"But Jace-" she starts
"We will talk about it later" I stop her and get up and go back inside.
I turned on the shower as I let the hot water take over my thoughts. I want to spend Christmas with my family because we are a family. None of that split parents weekend thing, that won't work for me. Hopefully after tonight it will change her view about this. I finish my shower and do my business. I put on sweatpants and a crewneck and when I walk out, the kids and Chloe are sitting on the couch.
"Daddy" ava yells
"Good mornin princess" I sit taking her on my lap "Wanna go get breakfast?"
"Yes please!" Michael jumps up
"Woah ok Cookie Monster" I reply
"Stop calling me Cookie Monster!" He shouts
"Stop shouting!" I bark back hearing a giggle from the girls
In the restaurant, Me and Jack sit on the end of the table with Ella and my parents on Jack's side and Chloe on mine with the kids.
"So, if we put an offer on them I think sales could go up" Jack says
"I agree, but, last time we did business with them they didn't hand us any of our money. So I think if we get with they're enemy we could triple the sale" I answer
"Oh common stop talking about work for one day, were on vacation" Ella interrupts
"Sorry Ells" I reply
"Michael, Ava, what do you want for Christmas?" My mom asks
"I want a super big neon blue surfboard with sharks on the side! Oh and a new bike! It has to be neon green with hugeeee wheels and lights in the front" Michael shouts
