chloe's point of view
i woke up in a feeling i've never felt in a long time. no feet or arms or hair tangled against my body. instead i felt strong, muscular arms around me and a mouth on my shoulder. i slowly turned my body around and found jace's head on my shoulder, with his light brown hair all messed up. i missed always waking up in this feeling. me being me, i shut my eyes again... then i felt movement
"chloe" i heard him mumble clearly still tired
"yes?" i asked with my eyes closed still
"what time is it?" he asked opening his eyes a little
"6" i replied opening my eyes
he moved his head down towards my stomach with his arms still around me. i played with his hair
"when's the last time you were able to sleep in?" he asked curious
"umm since i gave birth" i replied making him laugh
"well than sleep in" he said picking his head up
"what?" i asked
"oh mommy!! daddy!!" we heard michael yelling from the hall
"yes michael!" we both yelled at the same time
he walked into the room shaking
"i need to pee but this house is to big i can't find it!!" he yelled
"common" i sighed sitting up until i felt a hand on my chest pushing me down
"stay. i'll take care of them" jace said
"no no i'll do it" i said
"chloe i'm giving you a day of be appreciative" he said to me as he got up taking michael with him
i sighed and sat back down in the bed. boy did i miss this house. about one hour later, i felt movement and small groans. i opened my eyes and saw ava attempting to get on the bed
"what's wrong" i asked curios. i would've thought she would've loved to play with jace
i helped her onto the bed and she cuddled up next to me as i stroked her hair
"mommy is it always gonna be like this?" she asked
"well ava... for once i don't know" i sighed at her "why?"
"well because, it's just so weird seeing our dad now when he wasn't with us a while ago" she said
"well things will change... i think" i said as we cuddled

she said before she sighed and fell asleep with ava. i really wanna know what she meant by that. i really love chloe. i missed having her in my arms every night and-
"DADDY!!" michael interrupted my thoughts
"coming bud" i shouted back and went outside to practice football with him
