jace's point of view
the lights turned off and i was scared of what could happen.. i was teaching in all my pockets for my phone when i finally found it. i shined my flashlight around the field desperately looking for chloe
"too late buddy boy" Kaiden laughed
"dude what the hell you were my best bro and now you betrayed me?" i yelled
"jace.. i will never like my sister or accept her ever again" he growled
"my god Kaiden that happened almost 7 years ago can't you just drop it!" i yelled
"jace me and my family had a great chance of losing our house, money, everything all because of chloe" he shouted
"you grew up with her.. she's your blood family. and now your just gonna drop her? after everything you've all been through" i asked
"yes.. yes i am. so good luck trying to get her back" he laughed as he walked away
i quickly realized i was the only one on the field. i ran to my car in desperate need to find chloe. i drove to her house but for the first time.. it wasn't there. i had to think quick
"jack!" i yelled at him through the phone
"yes jace joe may i help you while i'm in the shower" he asked
"i don't care what the hell your doing right now but we're having an emergency meeting at the house asap no excuses! and tell everyone!" i yelled
"fine" he responded as we ended the call

"ok boss why are we here" one of my workers asked
"good question. since were all of the ones that weren't lazy finally here, i need you all to track 3 people down" i explained
"and who might that be" ella asked
"everyone you remember chloe and our kids right?" i asked
"oh yeah" they all responded
"ok good enough chit chatting i need them found. NOW! Christopher and Eric i need you to track their car. Ryan and Anderson you guys go check their house for any clues. Max and Zachary i need you to get in touch with anyone who may know where they are. and ella and jack come with me ALRIGHT LETS GET MOVING" i yelled
we headed upstairs and sat in the kitchen
"ok so why did she run away?" jack asked
"kaiden" i responded
"ohh" they both understood
"where could they have gone chloe doesn't really have anyone else" ella asked
"that's true she lost all her friends after that night" jack added
"i don't know which is why i'm more worried.." i responded
"jace it's 2:30 in the morning go get some sleep" jack said
"not until i find them!" i yelled
"sir we've tracked them down" Christopher came in and yelled
"where are they?" i asked
"ohh that ain't good" jack said looking at the information
"what where are they!" i asked now mad
"chloe and the kids are at her parents.." ella announced
i was shocked. i had to sit down
"jace. buddy" jack yelled
"i'm going wherever she's going. if she's there this is either good or bad. I'll be back soon" I announced

"mom"
we both looked at each other while i was nervous for her reaction. i suddenly saw tears in her eyes and she slowly smiled and ran to hug me, her brown hair all in my face
"it's been so long" she said
"i know.. 8 years" i said as tears now started coming out of my eyes
she pulled away and looked at me "oh my look at you! still so skinny and beautiful. we missed you so much. but after you and jace broke up no one could find you and then we regretted everything we missed you so much" she started
"honey who's at the door.." my dads blonde hair made its way through the door frame as he was shocked
"it's our little chloe Ryan.. she's back" my mom said
"chloe.." he started. i was so scared for his reaction but, his next move was hugging me. i was shocked "chloe sweetie we're so sorry for everything we've done to you in the past we missed you so much" he said
"i missed you to dad" i responded hugging him back as he pulled away
"hold on.. chloe those 2 cuties wouldn't be.." she started
"yes mom. those are my kids" i answered
"oh my goodness. i have grand babies. well finally!" she smiled
"what about Kaiden's kid?" i asked as they both sighed
"betrayed us" my dad responded "come in the house it's 1:45 in the morning let's catch up"
we all smiled and walked inside and i looked up at my childhood home that changed so much. we settled in the living room
"so chloe. where did you go after jace's?" my father asked
"i started at a motel, got a well paying job a few days after and moved into an apartment and then i opened up my own store and i made great money and then i bought a house and yeah!" i explained
"now i wanna know about these cuties!" my mom asked pointing at the twins
"well this is ava and michael, their twins and their 5 years old" i started
"and who would the lucky father be" my mom asked
i sighed "take a guess"
"i knew you and jace would have kids!" my dad yelled "but if you guys broke up-"
"i was a single parent. i didn't tell him or anyone" i explained
"oh my goodness chloe we never knew that we are so sorry" my mom explained
"not your fault" i responded
"so what makes you come back after so long?" my dad asked
"well.. my store is closed for the rest of April for renovations and me and jace got into a bad fight.. by the way we are trying to be together again" i explained
"what about?" my dad asked
"daddy said he wished he never met us and we were never born" michael said
"and he told mommy he wishes she moved to the other side of the country and never saw her again!!" ava joined
"he said that to your faces?" my dad asked
"no guess who.." i said
"Kaiden!" they both yelled
"bingo" i responded
"did you tell jace your here?" my dad asked
"no i'm trying to get away from him" i responded
"ohh not good.." i heard him mumble
"what?" i asked
"you know it's really late and the kids are probably tired so let's go find you guys a room to sleep in!" my mom suggested
once we were all settled, i smiled. but.. i don't know where to go from here..
