*ೃ✧ ━ MINNIE yelped as she shot up, eyes wide and her breathing heavy, her heart racked against her ribcage, she had finally gotten to sleep but then there was demon and Barbara in a pool that looked like something from a video game then she was gone, in an instant she was, from what Minnie could assume, ripped apart by something that looked like one of the figures from Wills D&D game.

Minnie stood up, her sweat glistened skin catching her eye, she sighed, "Finally able to fall asleep and then I have a nightmare about Barbara dying by some fucking demon."

"Yo, Nancy! You see Barbara anywhere, like at all?" Minnie ran towards the Wheeler girl,

"No, last time I saw her was at Steves's party last night, I thought she just went home." Nancy's features saddened,

"Okay, let me know if you, I'll let you know if I do." Minnie smiled softly walking backwards before turning the corner, bumping into Steve as Nancy continued walking,

"You okay with studying today?"

"Jesus Christ! Don't fucking sneak up on me!" Minnie put her hand over her chest,

"Okay, sure, I won't but are you?" Steve asked again, putting his hands up,

"Yeah, sure, whatever." Minnie shrugged, "Also you're hair looks stupid like that." She whispered,

"Do you like annoying me or something?" He asked as she walked away,

"Yup."

"Yo, Steve! Why'd you break Jonathans' camera?" Minnie walked towards Steve who was sat on the floor by the lockers, "You know, I thought we had a deal, I tutor you and you leave me and Jonathan alone so why the fuck did you break his camera?"

"Yeah, that goes into effect after the test, Minnie." Steve crossed his arms,

"No, the deal went into effect the moment deal left my mouth, Harrington, now answer my question." Minnie demanded,

"He took perverted photos of Nancy at the party, okay? Jonathan was stalking us." Steve explained,

"Not tryna say you're lying but Jonathan Byers stalking you, Steve Harrington? That seems highly unlikely." Minnie tilted her head,

"I would show you the proof but I ripped the pictures, Min."

"Ew, don't call me Min, it sounds weird." Minnie rolled her eyes,

"Yeah, yeah, whatever... you wanna study after the game?" Steve asked, tilting his head,

"Ooh, studying?" Tommy spoke,

"Thought you were with Nancy." Carol commented,

"Shut up, nobody was talking to either of you." Minnie practically snapped, "But, sure and if this is just a massive waste of my time, Steve, I swear to God I will punch you." She stepped over his legs before walking out.

"You are never gonna be able to pass this test." Minnie smiled almost teasingly at the Harrington boy,

"Shut up, I've only gotten like five wrong." Steve leaned back,

"Nah, you've gotten thirteen in total wrong but the thing is you're not trying, you wanna pass you gotta try." Minnie shrugged, mimicking his actions,

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"Why do you hate me so much? It was like five months ago that you wanted to be my friend and now you act like I've murdered your entire family, especially now." Steve questioned,

"I did wanna be your friend but then I saw how much of a douchebag you are and how you completely switch personalities around your friends, it's a major turn-off." Minnie shrugged,

"Seriously? Oh... but that doesn't explain why you're being more rude to me now."

"What is this, twenty questions?" Minnie joked,

"Just answer it."

"Fine, uh, I had a brother, Manuel, he was five years older than me, he died a couple years back in November so naturally the month just reminds me of him and I get all bitchy, satisfied?" Minnie leaned forward,

"How'd he die? If you're comfortable answering that."

"Not satisfied... listen, after this, we get back to work, okay?" Steve nodded, "Well, he had this heart condition, the same one my father had, we weren't able to treat it since we live on a low income and so naturally he died. I was the one to find him... dead on his bed, I was only fourteen." Minnie sharply exhaled,

"I'm so sorry." Steve whispered,

"It's fine, it's not like you're the one who fucked his heart up." Minnie joked with a smile before the ringing phone had caught her attention, "Hold on." She whispered before she jogged over it, picking it up she greeted Jonathan. Her features immediately saddened, tears welling in her eyes as she hung up,

"Hey, what's wrong?" Steve asked once he noticed her crying,

"Will's dead."
