Chapter 2

Sakura POV
The bobbing had stopped, now it felt more like a gentle rocking. I felt so warm and cozy, I must be dead............yep, defiantly dead.....no.....wait! I smell people, hear the creaking of wood, the clumping of boots on wood.........I'm on a ship. Wonder who picked me up, let's hope their friendly. Do I smell deer, what a weird thing to smell on a ship when I assume I'm not in the kitchen.
Slowly I opened my eyes and steadily looked round, I seemed to be in an infirmary bed and based on the look of it then definitely on a ship. I sat up and pulled out an IV that was in my hand and got up from the bed walking round to check this room out. Just as I was walking about the room the door opened and in stepped a reindeer, but he looked more like a child, and a rather tall green haired man. Straight away I panicked and jumped back, exposing my fangs while letting out a deep growl, the green haired man drew two swords and the child reindeer hid behind him I patted my sides but couldn't find my duel blades(as pictured) the green haired man chuckled
"Looking for your weapons, just settle since you won't be able to do much with out them"
This made me snarl, I hate people looking down on me for being female,
"I don't need weapons to beat you" I violently snarled at him as my mouth lengthened to a muzzle, fangs stretching, nails lengthening into claws. He got a hardened look to his face but also looked excited at the fighting possibility, we both crouched ready to attack when a loud bang distracted us, next thing I knew something flew into me and knocked me on my back, I looked up to see a young lad in a strawhat sat on top of me grinning madly
"That was so cool what you did, why do you have a tail? And animal ears? Why were you in the boat?"
He wouldn't shut up, it was a bit overwhelming. My muzzle, fangs and nails went back to normal and I heard the green haired swordsman slowly sheath his swords so that settled me a bit more. I pushed the strawhat guy off and sat up again
"I'll gladly answer all your questions if you answer mine please?"
"Ok, what you got to ask?" He was still grinning so widely, his cheeks must hurt.
"Will I be harmed on this ship? What crew is this? And can I have my knives back please?" Straight away green hair started arguing against that but strawhat talked over him
"Of course you won't be harmed, we are the strawhat crew, I'm Monkey D Luffy, the captain and the man that will be King of the Pirates and yes you can have your knives" at this point he stretched his arms across the room and grabbed my knives then handed them back to me
"How did you stretch like that?" I was completely taken aback
"I ate the gum gum fruit, I'm a rubber man" he laughed while pulling his cheeks and stretching them, what an odd boy. "hey, let's go eat and you can meet the crew, I'm hungry, SANJI, IS DINNER READY?!!!"
His shouting was enough to nearly make my ears bleed. We stood up and Luffy went up the stairs leading on to the deck, I had tucked my knives back into my waistband and followed him though still a little apprehensive especially with the swordsman's distrustful glare behind me. The wee reindeer stayed basically glued to the swordsman's leg all the way up the stairs and even stayed attached to it on the way to,what I assume was, the kitchen. Cautiously I followed and slowly looked in the room, 8 people sat at a table as a blonde haired lad in a rather swanky suit put the food out, Luffy looked away from the food and momentarily stopped drooling when he noticed me in the doorway, he grinned like an absolute idiot while the swordsman glared and everyone else looked at me curiously. Next thing I knew blondie was beside me, holding my hand in his, hearts in his eyes and blabbering something
"My darling, it is so good to see you up and well, please sit and enjoy this delicious meal I cooked especially for you" this.........this is uncomfortable but based on my situation it's probably best to be polite.
"Urm, thank you, so much" I took a seat beside the reindeer and a long nosed boy, they both seemed very nervous.
"So, are you really a lycra?" My jaw dropped a little as I looked at Luffy "a what?"
An orange haired girl hit Luffy on the head yelling at him "you idiot, that's not how you say it! What he meant to ask is are you a Lycan?"
This question took me aback, not many people know of my species anymore "how do you know about lycans and didn't just assume I ate one of those devil fruits?
The orange haired girl indicated to a raven haired woman who gently smiled while holding her coffee "robin our ships archeologist recognised what you where from the ears and tail"
"Oh, ok" self-consciously I gently put my tail in my lap and started stroking it, it really needed a brush. The blonde placed a plate of food in front of me, it looked absolutely amazing and the smell was intoxicating "Bon appetite mademoiselle" everyone started eating, well Luffy was more shovelling than eating, and people called my species animals.
"Well, I suppose introductions should be made" nami started indicating around the room "you've already met our captain Luffy and I'm nami the navigator, robin our archeologists" she pointed to the raven haired woman then to the blonde who was now at the sink with dirty dishes, "sanji our cook" she then indicated to the still nervous looking reindeer and long nosed boy "this is chopper our doctor and ussop our sharpshooter" she then indicated to the still glaring green haired man, "zoro our swordsman" then a blue haired man in speedos was brought to my attention,"this is franky our engineer" he struck a pose
"It's SUPER nice to meet ya"
Then a....a skeleton? Yes a skeleton in a suit with an Afro was pointed out to me,"this is brook, our musician" the skeleton came over and bowed while tipping his hat,
"It's a pleasure to meet you, may I..............see your panties?" PERVERTED SKELETON!!! What have I gotten mixed up in, oh no no no no, oh dear lord.
Nami hit brook rather hard telling him to shut up. Luffy had now finished demolishing all available food and had his attention turned to us, "so what's your name and why where you in the small boat?"
I let out a sigh, "my name is Sakura" straight away sanji started making a weird face and fawning over me"sakura, such a perfect name for such an angel, a delicate cherry blossom blowing in the breeze"
I just decided to ignore this"urm, yes and the reason for my drifting is that I needed to travel, I......had to go far away"
Zoro spoke in such a deep voice, his gaze never leaving me"why did you need to travel far away? Far away from where and what?"
I looked at him but had to lower my eyes to the table, his gaze was to intense. I don't consider myself weak, I was a warrior in my pack but he has a certain air to him, one that makes me not want to challenge him when needs not. He had the same aura as an Alpha. "I....I am not willing to say but I promise that I will not involve your crew in my business" he did not seem happy with my answer but left it since Luffy said it was fine for me to not say.
Nami stood up and stretched, "well, it's getting late. Your welcome to sleep in the infirmary bed again Sakura"
"Our you could share a bed with me my darling, I will comfort you if needs be" sanji had come over and held my hand again, he was really making me UNcomfortable now, I couldn't help but let out a deep growl. Everyone froze and stared, franky came over and started to guide sanji out the kitchen "I'm not one to prevent a mans romance but I think you should probably leave sanji" I knew it wasn't just zoro that didn't trust me but the crew has been nice to me so far, I didn't want to make them uneasy. I turned to Luffy and bowed. "I am sorry for my behaviour, please let me stay on your ship till the next island then I will leave" I stayed like that, only standing once Luffy spoke.
"It's ok and you can stay long as you want shehehehehe"
"STOP INVITING STRANGERS TO STAY WITH US!!!" Ussop shouted, hitting Luffy on he head. Who hits their captain? And gets away with it! What an odd crew.
Everyone started heading to the sleeping quarters except zoro who went to the crows nest for look out duty. I turned into my wolf form, just a plain brown wolf with intense green eyes, and curled up in a corner of the deck. I felt safer that way.
The strawhats have been kind to me but I won't over stay my welcome. As I lay there I could hear the boys mucking about and the girls chatting quietly while snoring came from the crows nest, so much for look out duty, I couldn't help but chuckle.
Maybe my stay here won't be so bad.

Thank you all so much for reading and sorry it took me 2 weeks to update but I will attempt to update on a weekly basis. My friend at work will make sure of that :p
