Bar: Wait, Why does he need to have his blood tested? He's her father.
DR: It turns out she has a blood disorder that requires a perfect match. Has she been sick recently?
SR: She had a doctor's appointment this afternoon.
DR: If you could give me the name of her doctor I would to consult with them.
SR: Not a problem.
Bar: Just out of curiosity, couldn't Y/N be a donor?
DR: Well, she was injured herself. She would need to heal before donating. And even if she wasn't hurt, she couldn't because of her pregnancy.
SR: Her what?
Bar: She's pregnant?
Dr: Around 8 or 9 weeks. By your reaction, I'm guessing you didn't know.
SR: Why wouldn't she say anything?
Dr: She probably doesn't know herself.
Dr: Your wife and daughter are in recovery. When you're ready, I'll take you to them.
SR: Thank you.
*The doctors leave.*
Bar: What are you thinking?
SR: I'm not. I'm just in shock right now.
Bar: I get it. I'm going to call Tony and update him.
SR: Don't say anything about the baby. Not until I talk to her first.
Bar: You got it. Now go find her. Sit with her.
*Bucky leaves.*
SR: Excuse me. I'm looking for my wife.
N: Right this way, Captain.
*She leads him to your room and he can only stare at the sight before him.*

*Stee sits down and moves the chair closer to the bed and holds your hand.*
SR: Oh baby girl. It seems we just can't catch a break, can we? Just when things are going good, it all comes crashing down. Maybe the quiet life was never in the cards for us.
*He hasn't noticed you woke up.*
Y/N: It was nice while it lasted.
SR: I'm so glad you're awake.
Y/N: What happened?
SR: What do you remember?
Y/N: We left the doctor's office. Stopped at the store. We were on our way home and there was a loud noise. Everything went dark and now I'm here.
SR: You were in a car accident.
Y/N: A car accident? Savannah. Steve, where is she?
SR: She's out of surgery but she's in bad shape.
Y/N: How bad is it?
SR: She needs a blood transfusion. It has to be a perfect match.
Y/N: So, they can take mine.
SR: But they won't.
Y/N: Why not? I'm her mother.
SR: Two reasons. First, you're in bad shape too.
Y/N: And the second?
SR: You're pregnant. Around 8 or 9 weeks. Did you know?
Y/N: That's why I stopped at the store. I've been feeling off lately.
SR: You stopped to get a test?
Y/N: I did. Is the baby ok?
SR: It is.
Y/N: Just one this time?
SR: Just the one.
*The doctor walks in.*
Dr: Captain Rogers, can we speak in private?
