"You know that there's a temple in Calcutta where they used to sacrifice a child every day? That's every day a dead baby, Lydia, every day! Hey, you want to know what today is? It's dead baby day. Oh, no, wait, that's every day, because every day is dead baby day, yay!" Stiles exclaimed as he followed closely behind Lydia.

The girl looked up to see Carter walking toward them with a frown on her face.

"I'd love to see what you just said written on paper." Carter said as she walked past them.

Lydia sighed, before following the girl.

It may have seemed weird to any outsiders but ever since Carter insisted on making sure that Lydia got home safe, it grew rare to see one without the other.

It irked Carter to know that she had an odd urge to be around Lydia constantly.

Stiles seemed to believe that it had something to do with what Lydia is and it being connected to Carter being a witch.

"Why are you telling me this?" Lydia questioned the Stilinski.

"Why are you following me?" Carter quickly turned around to ask. Lydia only frowned in response.

"Because Scott's dealing with the Alpha twins." When he saw the confused facial expression on the girls' faces he continued, "You don't know about the twins?"

"I'd really love to see these 'twins' everyone keeps talking about." Carter mumbled quietly to herself.

"Alphas?" Lydia quirked a brow.

"Ethan and Aiden?" Stiles trailed off, waiting for at least one of them to pick up what he was putting down.

"Oh, yeah. Yeah I knew about them."

Carter could hear the switch in Lydia's tone, raising a brow in suspicion. Before she could question anything, Stiles spoke up once more,

"Okay, okay, good. So look, here's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking that the murders maybe come in threes. Ancient people love things in threes, right? So maybe first it's three virgins, and then, I don't know, maybe it's three people who own little dogs." Stiles, once again, rambled on.

Carter wouldn't admit it out loud but she found it adorable when the dorky teen went on and on about things no one seemed to really care about. And though she may not look like it, she cared.

Lydia gave him a look, "I own a little dog."

"God, i hate dogs." Carter shuddered at the thought of the animal.

Lydia and Stiles shared a look. It didn't at all surprise them to head she didn't like dogs. The blonde gave off the look that she didn't like anything.

Lydia glanced back at Stiles to see him already staring at her with a very telling face. One that practically screamed, 'get rid of your little dog'.

"I am not getting rid of my dog!"
