So I started writing a research paper because

6) i had a lot of controversial things i needed to get out

17) I failed my first one

4) I was bored

so my prompt is "Why gay marriage should be legal everywhere"

I started with historical facts like the first homosexual couple from ancient egypt or ancient greek was filled with gay people, the sacred band of thebes, sparta, and gods: apollo who's bi, dionysus, the god of anyone who's confused about their gender, artemis who's aromantic and asexual, athena who's asexual, and achilles who's just gay

then i got to the statistics. members of the lgbtq community are at a three times higher risk of commuting suicide than straight cis people

that's as far as i got but i'm planning on talking about Florida's Don't Say Gay bill, how religious people are idiots for thinking their belief in a celestial being is better than facts, statistics, and just understanding homosexuality is not sending people to hell, and explaining that people should be treated the same no matter gender or sexuality

i literally started the whole thing with this sentence:

"The craziest thing I've ever heard is straight people voting on gay marriage." because it is the craziest thing ive heard! an outside party voting on something that shouldn't be even be prohibited? that's just atrocious

i used verified websites, facts i can support, and words from the heart to push the explanation of how homophobes and transphobia are ruining our lives
