As you and your long lost lover thena walk into the forest you find a small secluded patch to sit and talk.
"Why did you leave me all those years ago?" Thena says quietly.
"I- thena that's a big question-"
" I know and I want you to answer honestly," thena cuts you off firmly.
"I did it because I was scared. Even with all this power I have I was scared that I couldn't take care of you properly," I pause and clear my throat "I knew I was bad for your recovery but now I realise that I should've been in it no matter how hurt I get,"
"You were scared I was gonna hurt you?"
"No not YOU per say more like your condition" I say grabbing her hand and holding it tight "but I'm ready to be in it again... no matter what happens in this fight."
"What if I hurt you again?" Thena says not meeting my gaze.
"You could never." I reassure her as I place a general kiss on her hand.
We were soon snapped out of our comforting silence as we heard a fight break out, something I knew would trigger thena...
