"Allow me to go first!"

Tsukumo Sana stepped up as she charged her cosmic energy on her both hands.

She blasted the beams to the Ancient One as it guarded that power with its big magic crest.

"A powerful force from space but sadly, it's useless against me."

The Ancient One praised its enemy power as it guarded the attack effortlessly.

"I didn't know about that, Miss Ancient One. How about you taste it for the second time?"

Tsukumo Sana said as she recharged her power.

In response to its enemy's action, the Ancient One moved as it tried to chant the barrier magic once more, but this time, it got interrupted.

"What are these!!?"

The Ancient One was captured by thorny vines that emitted from the ground.

I turned and saw Ceres Fauna use her golden apple power as it shined brightly.

"Thanks, FauFau."

Tsukumo Sana said as she shot her second attack and it directly hit the Ancient One this time.

The smoke covered the Ancient One before fading off as the Ancient One moved out with a hole on its chest.

"Ugh!!!"

The Ancient One let out its grunt as it flew up to a ceiling.

I followed the Ancient One movement with my eyes but suddenly, its movement turned opposite and it fell to the ground harshly.

"What is happening?"

The Ancient One yelled as it hit the ground.

Once again I looked at the Council crew and saw Hakos Baelz roll her dice in the air as it glowed red.

"What goes up must come down."

Hakos Baelz said that before rolling her dice once more. In consequence, the Ancient One was attacked by an invisible force which pushed her around ferociously.

"Argh!!!! Argh!!!!"

The Ancient One cried in pain as it got attacked. I never saw it cry like this before.

As the chaotic attack from Hakos Baelz stopped, the Ancient One picked itself up and tried to chant its spell as the crest appeared in front of it once again.

But once again, the Ancient One incarnation was interrupted by the council's attack. This time it was the attack from Nanashi Mumei.

Nanashi Mumei drew a string of her bow without an arrow, but as soon as she drew the string at its maximum, the shining arrow suddenly appeared and flew straight to the Ancient One's magic crest after she released her shot.

The Ancient One's magic crest shattered as the shot of Nanashi Mumei landed at the center of it, then without any wait, Ouro Kronii dashed toward the Ancient One and attacked her enemy.

"Ugh!!!..."

The Ancient One, once more, let out its painful grunt as the sword of its enemy stabbed to its chest.

"Now! Can we talk, Miss Ancient One?"

Ouro Kronii spoke to her enemy like she wasn't stabbing her sword right at its chest.

Despite its situation, the Ancient One let out its maniacally laugh loudly before it spoke to Ouro Kronii.

"Well...Well...Well..., you did better than your other dimension counterpart, the Council, but sadly, you are no match for me either."

The Ancient One talked weirdly as it was the one who was in a losing position.

"You do realize your situation right, Miss Ancient One?"

Ouro Kronii, like me, was confused with the Ancient One's words.

To answer Ouro Kronii's question, the Ancient One faded into thin air.

Everyone in the room was shocked by what happened. We looked around but couldn't find our enemy but then, the Ancient One suddenly appeared behind Ceres Fauna and sent her flying away by the slap of its tentacle.

"FauFau!!!"

Tsukumo Sana was shocked as her friend was attacked while trying to charge her power. Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough and the Ancient One sent her flying with its energy blast instead.

Hakos Baelz, on the other hand, remained calm as she changed her dice into a dagger.

She attacked the Ancient One but it was able to dodge every single blow of Hakos Baelz's attack before pushing her away with its blast.

Seeing her friend get attacked, Nanashi Mumei tried to gain the distance for her bow attack but the Ancient One noticed as it dashed toward her back and took Nanashi Mumei down to the ground.

"Mumei!!!"

Ouro Kronii shouted as she approached her enemy recklessly.

She sliced, kicked, and stabbed the air as the Ancient One dodged all of her attacks effortlessly, but one hit landed on its body and the marble was flown away into my direction.

IRyS was the one who got that marble for me.

I looked at that marble and saw Gura inside of it.

"Gura! Gura!!!"

I called her as loud as I could with the thought that by doing it, I would make her turn back for some reason, but then I realized how stupid it was and stopped before looking at the battle once more.

Ouro Kronii wasn't able to land any single hit on the Ancient One after that, then she lost her rhythm and fell into the Ancient One hand.

"Too bad, the Warden of Time. You fought well but it's not enough."

The Ancient One said as it grabbed Ouro Kronii's neck.

"IRyS! Can you do something? I will be fine here...IRyS!!!"

I spoke to IRyS who had to guard me and realized that it was not that she didn't want to help her friends, but she knew that it was useless.

If the whole Council couldn't handle the Ancient One, how could IRyS be able to handle the battle alone? As she said, the Ancient One right now was more powerful than the time she fought it. So if she headed to the battle and left me unguarded, all the things her friends worked hard for will be undone.

As I thought of that, IRyS confirmed my hypothesis by speaking to me.

"Miss Amelia, I'm gonna bring you to another place where there will be a more powerful person to help us. The Ancient One will follow your watch and the Council will be saved. She couldn't use Miss Kronii's watch anyway."

I listened to IRyS' words and nodded back at her as a sign of agreement.

IRyS took my hand and the Ancient One took its eyes off from Ouro Kronii and changed its target to us instead.

As soon as the Ancient One realized that we tried to escape, it dropped Ouro Kronii down and dashed toward us.

IRyS tried to chant her escaping spell but it was too late, the Ancient One was too close.

At the time the Ancient One tried to attack me and IRyS, the marble on my hand shined and it shattered into pieces.

From the shattering marble, Gura dashed toward and attacked the Ancient One which sent it flying toward the wall before hitting it harshly.

"Ugh!!!..."

The Ancient One let out its painful grunt.

I looked at Gura. I was so happy to see her but something was strange about Gura in front of me.

"Don't! ... Hurt! ... Ame!"

Gura spoke to the Ancient One but somehow, she sounded so different.
