Chapter 134: [Post-Incident II]

[St. George Hospital, London, United Kingdom]

After the wide incident that happened in London, numerous users were naturally towards the unaffected hospitals as various medical officers such as doctors and nurses tended the injured, luckily no one had died in the major operation that was held, but that didn't mean that no one was majorly injured

Some particular examples of majorly wounded or injured users were Ryuuji, Greg, and anyone who encountered and fought against the members of the terrorist group. Despite their preparations, they were totally subdued till the end

At this very moment Ryuuji himself was admitted inside a ward as he somehow was being put to rest as he got totally beaten black and blue by the members of the terrorist group. As one of the people that got totally mortal wounded in the incident, an operation was naturally done unto him forcing to somehow stay in the hospital for about 2 weeks till he recovered completely

Naturally this put a bitter taste on his mouth as he couldn't do anything but obey the words of the doctor

At the same time the major failure ion the operation didn't go unnoticed, it naturally spread-out towards numerous bases and branches all over the world, causing numerous people to suddenly worry for the future of the organization, after all it was already well known that a small civil strife was happening among the circle of the executives all because of one child

Added to the fact with this failure, everyone could already imagine just how chaotic it is between the two sides of the internal strife of the organization. If nothing was done to fix the situation, it will be only a matter of time before the organization itself would split into two, and that wouldn't do good at all in this time of apocalyptic world

Putting that aside Sanaguchi naturally caught of the news regarding the failure of the operation as he together with Jinwoo, AI, and Jessica, quickly booked for a flight towards the United Kingdom airport with a thought to visit Ryuuji himself, after all Ryuuji is still a part of their team, despite being a field agent on his own for such a long time

Just like what stated, the moment the plane landed Sanaguchi and the co. naturally rode towards St. George Hospital as they rushed towards Ryuuji's room and saw completely wrapped up in bandages as he laid in the bed

Their entrance of course didn't go unnoticed as Ryuuji inevitably saw the whole group aside for some few arrived at his room, with a slight glance he then asked everyone who arrived

"Why are all of you guys here?"

"Why? is because I'm the commander in chief for our whole polar team, which is you are included, meaning your safety and well being is under my jurisdiction" Replied Sanaguchi

"Well technically not all of us are here... except for Kanzaki, Alice, and Isabelle, who are in their respective academy and cant join us at the current moment since they needed to catch up in their lessons, the rest of the team are here" added Jinwoo with a sarcastic tone

"But oh boy! you really got beat up didn't ya?" asks Ai

"Based on how your patched up, I've gotta say the the fight wasn't pretty didn't it? so who did this to you?" asks Jinwoo

"A member of a terrorist group and a person who is named August" answered Ryuuji

"August? where did i think i heard that name? muttered Jinwoo to himself

Seeing that Jinwoo was in a deep contemplation, Jessica basically scooted over as she asked Ryuuji's well being

"So how are you holding up? Are you hurt anywhere? Where are you majorly wounded?"

"I'm not sure, after all i only knew is that i got attacked and then i was knocked out, other than that was completely clean slate... i cant remember after at all" answered Ryuuji

"I see..." reacted Jessica

"But anyways you better get well first, just by looking at your situation, I'm pretty sure that the enemy was quite troublesome, but didn't a veteran and retired chaos user with you? based on the previous report I'm pretty sure his name is Greg right? and he is somewhat has close relationship with the Head General, meaning he isn't weak at all... so what happened to him?" inquired Sanaguchi

"Greg... he was the first line of defense in my mansion and seeing that the enemy manage to reach the room where i resided only means that he got done in" answered Ryuuji

"I see... looks like not even a veteran could content that much to people who likes violence, but that means they got the child right?" asks Sanaguchi

"Sadly yes... i tried my best to protect her but they just have multiple means on scooping her off my grasp" said Ryuuji

"Well damn! Getting the girl from Undead in the Philippines was already a tough job, even thought I'm not actually there in the fight, but upon hearing Alice, Kanzaki, and your description during that point, i can already picture a tough battle... but sadly your effort was wasted the moment those terrorist tried to catch the girl... so much for effort" said Jinwoo

"Well we couldn't do anything about it anymore, after all it is already well known that in a battlefield anything can happen... that just how unpredictable battles are" said Sanaguchi

"I already know that... but..."muttered Jinwoo

With Jinwoo being silenced like that, Sanaguchi then proceeded to take out his phone as he opened up an app and activated its video call

"Well to be honest the three guys left behind also wanted to visit you, but due to their special circumstances, they couldn't do anything at all... thus since they wanted to see your condition, a video call would just precise at the very moment right?" 

"A video call?" asks Ryuuji

"Well yeah, they are pretty worried" answered Sanaguchi

Upon hearing Sanagushi's words, Ryuuji simply nodded in accordance as the video went up and he met Kanzaki, Alice, and Isabelle online. Starting up with a few formalities and jokes, they then begun to pay attention to his status, as they all talked about what happened in the operation
