We got to the restaurant and walked up to the door

We got to the restaurant and walked up to the door. Akira reached for the door handle and I smacked her hand down, glaring at her before opening the door.

"That hurt, you didn't have to do that," walking inside, rubbing her hand. "I told you to not touch a damn door when you're with me, you don't listen," placing my hand around her waist pulling her close. Before she could even respond she was interrupted, "Hello, is it just you two?" the boy asked, looking Akira up and down.

That right there made me want to punch him, "Reservation for Tarantino," sounding a little annoyed. He took one last glance at Akira before looking down at the list.

"Okay you can follow me," grabbing menus and leading the way. I pulled out the chair for her to sit and made my way to my seat. "Can I get you anything to drink to start off," looking at Akira for a little too long.

"I'll have whiskey and the woman will have red wine," attitude clear as day. "Oh okay," placing a tight lip smile before walking away. I rolled my eyes before looking at the menu, "What's wrong with you, why'd you do that?" Akira said, looking up from her menu.

"I don't like him, the way he was looking at you, no," shrugging.

She laughed a little before the waiter came back with our drinks. "Here you are, are you ready to order or do you need more time?" mostly looking at Akira.

"A new waiter...." I started to say before she kicked me under the table. She whispered 'stop' before telling him what she wanted; he turned his head towards me to signify that it was my turn. I told him what I wanted, giving him no eye contact, he nodded and took the menus.

She glared at me, "stop being mean."

"I just don't like the way he looks at you."

"Last time I checked I'm here with you not him so stop being grumpy and enjoy my company," taking a sip of her wine. She's right, I should be paying attention to her and not that imbecile.

I cleared my throat and started to give her my undivided attention. We started talking, getting to know each other. What we like and dislike, then we started to move onto deeper topics after the food came.

"Mhm this food is good as hell but back to the conversation," stuffing food in her mouth, "So how many tattoos do you have? What are they and what do they mean if they have one."

I chuckled watching her eat, "I have a total of 6 tattoos."

"The rose is for the love of family," pointing to my neck, "the one on my forearm is a money rose and a watch because my time is money. I took a bite of my steak and finished the rest of my whiskey before speaking again. I went back to telling her the rest of my tattoos and continued eating.

"So what about you? You got any other tattoos than the one on your arm and thigh," waving the waiter down for another drink. "Yeah I got 2 other ones," getting another glass of wine. "I got a snake wrapped around a heart on my back and I got my sternum tattooed, I'll show you later."
