I

We had a new black colored coffin for Frieda.

     Gothic toys surrounded the nursery.

A closet that was in the far right was to hold all of our daughter's things. To the left were black colored curtains that swayed in the cold breeze.

"Isn't she going to be beautiful, John", Amy said.

"Yes, dear. Now, I know that the coffin is new...but I think we've made enough money from The Lounge of Dead Blood to have a family". My parents were good people. But that's because they were human; they weren't Vampires...

...And, that's the point isn't it...

...Noone says 'I'm going to be a Vampire because they're cool'. The truth is, Vampires are beings of the Undead.

They feed on blood; they feed on human souls.

They also feed on their own kind.

And, for Amy and myself, we wanted to instil in our daughter all of our values that we learnt growing up.

But she would be a Vampire.

And, with that knowledge, she would take a different path, (or road), that I travelled when I had first met my wife...at The Lounge of Dead Blood.
