Chapter 6 - Deal fixed

Same day
Evening

Kiara and Ahana were in the living room watching tv when they heard footsteps and looked up to see Aryan?

"What are you doing here?" Kiara asked getting up from the couch.

"Then where should I be?" Aryan replied amusingly.

"Don't play around, why are you here early? Weren't you going to come tomorrow?" Ahana asked not looking at him.

"Well I was going to but the preparations were done so I came early. By the way how's your fever?" He asked suddenly serious.

"I am fine, it will be cured by tomorrow." Ahana replied nonchalantly.

"Get freshen up lets have tea together." Kiara said to Aryan.

Aryan nodded and went to his room.

Time skip:

They were in the garden area having tea. "You didn't update me about the development on the project." Ahana said.

"Well there's nothing important to report. Everything is going smoothly actually too smoothly, I wonder why Mr. Kim is not trying to do anything right now." Aryan replied and frowned.

"Because he can't, from where he is." Ahana said while taking a sip of her coffee.

"What do you mean?"

Silence

"What did you do Ahana?" Ahaan asked panicking. Worried that she did something extreme.

"I didn't do anything much." she said simply.

"Where is he?" Kiara asked.

"In jail." she said smirking.

"What?! For what?" Aryan asked standing up in surprise.

Ahana looked at him with narrow eyes and a frustrated look, she said,
"Stop the overacting right there. I reported him for some fund embezzlement and other charges against TIERRA."

"And did he actually do that?"

"Absolutely not. Do you think it's that easy to do that in TIERRA? It was a lie to frame him." Ahana said not meeting their eyes.

"You lied to frame him? That's unbelievable." Aryan amused while smiling and shaking his head.

"Well he did have a history of these charges so yeah. And I did try to talk it out with him but he was not ready to listen so I just did what I thought was right."

"But wait? You guys are not going to give me some gyaan (lecture) ?? Like I shouldn't have done that? It can be dangerous? Blah blah?"

"Well as long as it doesn't affect us. It's good." Kiara said casually.
"It won't." Ahana assured,  confidently.

Who knew that this Mr. Kim would be the person responsible for the change in your whole life.

Next day:
Morning.
at the breakfast table

Ahana, Kiara and Aryan were having their breakfast when Aryan spoke,
"There was a call from HYBE. They are ready to sign the contract. We will have to go there today." He informed both the ladies. Before Ahana could say anything Kiara cut her off.

"Is it necessary for her to go? She is still not completely well Aryan." She asked worriedly.

"Well if you guys can see I am also here at the table and you should ask me too what I want?" Ahana said sarcastically.
Aryan looked at her for a second and then turned back to Kiara.
"Well it's not necessary for her to go. I will deal with it. You take care of her." Aryan said and Kiara nodded her head with a smile.
Ahana just looked at both of them with open mouth. They just didn't ignore me. She scoffed at this thought. But before she could say anything Aryan stood up from his chair, gave a smirk towards Ahana, earning a death glare in return. He said he is leaving and kiara again nodded.
"Aryan." Ahana called out in a dangerously low voice. But it made him turn back within a second. He raised an eyebrow as in questioning, which only made Ahana's eyes more narrow. He sighed and said in a calm voice, "I know you want to go and trust me even I want to take you but your health comes first."
"I am fine." Ahana said in a little high voice.
"Oh really?" Kiara spoke in between.
Ahana looked at her and was going to say something when Kiara interrupted, "Don't argue when you know I am right."
Ahana then just continued eating her food while glaring at it hard.
Kiara nodded towards Aryan and he left for work.
She can be really strict sometimes.

Time skip
Evening

Aryan came inside the house. Ahana was in the living room talking to someone on the phone.

"Ha just inform me when you land there, okay?"
"Ha...okay bye."
She then cut the call.

"Who was it?" Aryan asked sitting beside her on the couch.

"Bhai (brother), I was telling him to inform me when he lands in Jeju."

"Is aunty coming?" Aryan asked hopefully.

Ahana went stiff for a second but recovered immediately. She should be used to it now.
"You know her. She won't. But bhai and bhabhi are coming. And chiku is a little sick so he can't come and is staying with mumma."
"Hmm.."

"What happened at Hybe? Is the contract signed?" Ahana asked changing the topic.

"Haan, they all signed the contracts. And one more thing, I know Kiara already invited them in our engagement but still I also did. They are nice people."

Ahana hummed in response not knowing what else to say.

Or we should say it was too early to say anything.
