Chapter 3 : 🅂🄲🄷🄾🄾🄻

[y/n] POV :

I dragged myself out of bed the next day. Damn it, I don't want to go to school. Even worse, mum told me that I have a special schedule :

1. School is from 8.30am to 4pm for most students, but for me, it is 8.30am to 2.30pm (but this is good)

2. I won't be having math, science, english, history etc. only japanese because what I learned in my previous school is way ahead of everyone else and I have to learn japanese

3. the only class I'll be having with my classmates are japanese and physical education (sports)

But I knew I didn't have a choice, so just got out of bed, brush my teeth, eat breakfast and do whatever I do in the morning and went to school.

~At school~

I got my 'special schedule' and went to class. The teacher asked me to introduce myself. I knew a little bit of japanese so I introduced myself, then teacher said "You may sit beside Miya Chinen, Chinen raise your hand" I saw a hand and went to my seat. Last row, beside the window. 'yay, now no one will notice me and mo one will talk to me, the teacher probably doesn't want me to disrupt his lesson when I leave or enter the class' I walked over, placed my bag on the floor. On the way, I noticed all, or at least most, of the girls are wearing skirts. Now I feel weird. I just quickly sat down and focused on teacher saying that I'm a transfer student and that I don't really know japanese and should try to speak to me in english while I learn. Like anyone would want to talk to me. The will just find it troublesome that they need to speak in english. Then the bell rang and the teacher allowed the students to go to the toilet or whatever until the next teacher comes. I quickly took my books and sneak of to my 'private japanese class'. When walking out, I noticed the person who raised his hand, Miya Chinen I think. But honestly, I can't tell if Chinen is a boy or girl, so I felt kinda bad about that.

Miya Chinen POV :

There is a new girl in class today, her name is [y/n] and what caught my attension is that she is wearing pants. I know the school allow students to choose between pants andd skirts, but I never really thought a girl would choose pants since they are usually trying to impress the guys. I once heard a girl say "the shorter the skirt the better" Bleh... I wanted to talk to her after the teacher left, but she was gone. And for the rest of the day, she wasn't in class.

At lunch, I noticed she not in the canteen too. And for some reason I tried to find her. She is not in the garden, corridors, classrooms so I went to the roof top. I opened the door to the rooftop and saw her wearing earphones and eating. And for some reason her eyes seemed to be shining, like there is water in her eyes. 'Is she crying?' I wanted to approach her but then the bell rang, so I went back to class. And again, she is not in class. 'Wears pants instead of skirts, skipping class, no groups and she doesn't look as slimy as the others too... wait what am I thinking?! She is still a slime!' I went back to listening to teacher.

[y/n] POV :

~After school~

I was walking home when I saw Reki. (Maybe his school end earlier or something? Idk) "[Y/n]! Hi! You wanna walk home together?" "Sure!" I said with a little nod. Reki started talking about his day and asked me about mine. I was kinda shocked (again yes) since my previous friends always talk about themselves and never ask me about my day. I started talking about my day too and Reki was actually listening. I felt a kind of feeling that made me relax and forgot about how others see me. "Hey [y/n]" "Hm?" "You are actually very funny and friendly, you should talk more!" When I heard Reki say that, I stopped slowed down a little and my eyes started to water. I looked at Reki. He was still smiling and laughing and still talking about his day and family and friends. He clearly doesn't realize how much his words mean to me. We reached home, said our "see you tomorrow", and went in our houses. Before that we exchanged numbers and he text me hi and said he was busy today, so he can't teach me to skateboard today. I replied ok and carried on with my day.
