Y/n watched her steps as she moved up the stairs I woke up late again...This can't keep going or I'll get fired again, life is tiring and boring-- She almost fell backward when a hand stopped on her wrist, she swoon her head seeing a familiar man, panting with his head hanging low as his eyes stayed on the ground, the icy dark hair she used to stroked and played with all the time "Kageyama--" He looked up at her, his eyes quivering as he shake his head "Can we talk?" Y/n swats his hand away and hummed a no, she grab her office bag ready to leave but he held her down again and pleaded "I beg you..." This stop her, she sigh and motion him to go on
Kageyama didn't waste a time and question her "Why do you left Y/n? I woke up the next day and you weren't there anymore...What's wrong? Why do you leave me?" She avoided contacts prying her hand off from him but he tightened it "I'm not letting you go, not anymore. I lost you once. I'm not going to lose you the second time." A single tear hugged her cheek but Y/n quickly wipe it off "Kageyama, I got to go to work, I left you my number so we can catch up some other time alright?" He shake his head
"How do I know it's not the fake number you gave me before? Forget your work--Let's head somewhere so we can talk." Y/n yanked her hand away from him and looked down, "Can you not force me...I got work we should talk some other time." The speaker spoke again and a small reminder to keep gaps from the lane again
Kageyama hold her hand again, his eyes darkened "You are always so selfish, leaving me behind after everything we've been through, all these years not a single day I missed by blaming you, calling you a traitor for leaving me behind and disappeared--But also not a single days I missed remembering how you scolded me over small things, nagged me when I scattered my clothes around the dorm, pinched me when I don't wash my dishes after I ate, your voice all I heard everytime I left alone and when I sleep all night, your soft whispers calling out for my name and cooed me on my bad day--It's so annoying that it's killing me! It's a living hell..."
Kageyama didn't notice that at this point, his face covered with tears, and lip shaking but even he did notice he did not care--All his care about was you, why did you left him? He wanted to know why...
"...I." Your voice came out shaky, you pursed your lip and took a deep breath "Don't want to be a burden..." He looked at you in disbelief "What--"
"I know your family against the idea of being with me, I got no money nor family neither do I got a good score in studies either, it became so much to me that I lose track of who I really am. All these years I did everything to find and boost my confidence, doing things I love doing but up until now, nothing seem to be going right. I gave up that at some point I want to give up, life"

Without hesitation, he said leaving you speechless, you shake your head eagerly disagreeing with the idea, "Why not? I thought you told me they against the idea us being together?" You still shake your head left and right, Kageyama cupped both your cheeks stopping you "Listen Y/n, I know this may sound harsh but I don't need my family, I have you and as long as I had you it's enough because...You are all I need..." Your tears fell down one after another, Kageyama embrace you once more petting your back and stroke your hair with the other hands
"It's okay, they can all do whatever they wants, I don't care. I'll fight for us and all I'm asking you is to stay by my side, can't you?" You nodded, tightening your arms around him, burying your face on his chest "Forget your work, let's head to my apartment and catch up about more stuff."
You wiped your tears using your sleeve "You used train too?" He smile and shake his head "Since you used one, I wanted to start using one too." You let an airy chuckle, Kageyama drop his hand with yours, interlocking your fingers together
"Don't leave me again, will you?" He kiss the back of your hand, smiling against it, you ruffle his hair to the back using the other hand and hummed "I won't because I like you so much" This may be a hard thing to do but not wrong, Kageyama is here with me, I would be just fine, we would be fine. He blush and sigh in contempt
