~Stray Kids Sickfics And Hurtfics~

nothing about the week had been normal for stray kids, firstly chan's wrist had gotten worse meaning he couldn't practise with them for a week. then jisung's anxiety spiked up again, meaning he had to take time for himself rather than being with the group. so only the 6 of them could practise.

of course they still had to be careful of felix's back, it wasn't as bad as it had been, but he didn't want to hurt it any more and risk not being able to perform with the group, so he had to sit out of most practises, only getting up to do his parts.

it was yet another day of practising, chan was back, jisung wasn't yet, and felix was sitting watching the group. about halfway through their manager came in and asked to talk to felix, which the young aussie was somewhat glad for, he was getting tired of just sitting and watching the other members having fun

"coming hyung" he called, standing up and leaving with the manager

once they were out of the practise room, the manager's tone completely changed, his eyes darkened and he said

"look felix, you're just being an inconvenience to the rest of the group" he said harshly

felix was shocked, as anyone would be

"w-what do you mean?"

"all you're doing is sitting watching the members dancing, you aren't contributing to anything!"

"manager-nim, with respect, i can't dance because of my-" felix started to say, but was cut off

"felix i don't care! if you aren't going to be useful why are you even here? if your back is that bad why don't you go home or take time off? you are no use here!"

the manager's harsh words dug deep into felix. his state of mind had been fragile enough because of his inability to join in, and now his manager saying this..it was all to much, the young boy started to tear up

"don't fucking cry, this is your own fault! it's bad enough that jisung is being useless, and now you!!"

that was the final straw for felix, he could deal with his manager saying things about him, but his best friend? no way

"HOW DARE YOU! SUNG HAS ALWAYS WORKED HARD TO KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP! HE HAS SOCIAL ANXIETY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, HOW CAN YOU CALL HIM USELESS FOR BEING ANXIOUS?" felix shouted, the whole building could probably hear him, but he didn't care

"do not raise your voice at me felix!"

"I WILL DO WHATEVER I WANT, HOW DARE YOU TALK BAD ABOUT SUNG LIKE THAT!" 

at this point, all of stray kids had come out to see what was going on, along with most of the idols and staff who were in the building, including jyp himself. everyone was understandably shocked to see felix, the cute bubbly sunshine, yelling at his manager whilst crying

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL YOURSELF OUR MANAGER!" felix screamed

"hey, lix!" chan said gently, bringing the boy in for a hug.

felix started crying harshly the second he was pulled in by chan "tell me what happened bubs"

"h-he called s-sung useless...and told m-me i was u-useless a-aswell" felix sobbed

"he what?" they heard minho, changbin and hyunjin all say at the same time. seungmin had to physically restrain minho

"felix look at me, you aren't useless, you're injured, it happens to all of us! you're here, still working hard like the rest of us! i wouldn't call that useless!" chan said, stroking the boy's hair gently to soothe him. felix eventually relaxed into chan's arms.

the 'manager' was led away by jyp and his staff so that they could 'talk' to him. he had a panic-stricken look on his face, as he should.

eventually, everything was cleared up, stray kids got a new manager, a nicer one. and their previous manager was all over the news for mistreatment.
