Layne had just walked into the party arriving with Anika on one side and Mindy on the other, she looked around before walking to the kitchen where she grabbed a bottle of vodka downing half of it down then that was when she spotted him
Spotting him is never an issue, he stands out with his height alone, but that charming smile and cocky attitude exude energy, and it attracts almost anyone, and he knows it. You are in a mood as you shuffle up next to him.
Your shoulders press back against the wall, and your gaze runs over the clusters of partygoers. A smile tugs at the corner of his lips now that you are beside him. He had spotted you when you arrived, but he had stayed against the wall waiting for you to come to him.
"hey, e," you say as seductively as possible, pushing your back so that your where leaning against the wall, your eyebrows rising when you feel him getting closer
Ethan doesn't respond. his hands go to the hem of your shirt, lifting it up slightly enough for him to rest his hands on your back making you shiver. his cold hands carefully move up and down your back moving towards your hips before gripping it tightly "hey" he whispered into your ear his hot breath fanning on your neck
"god, i missed you," Ethan groans, one of his hands trailing up your back before grabbing your hair and forcing you to throw your head back. you gasp before laughing breathily.
"i missed you too," you say teasingly, Ethan chuckles darkly, his hands briefly leaving your body. you could feel his eyes staring at your face and over the slope of your neck, like he was imagining something
"Want some?" You question pointing at the half empty bottle "Why not" He smiles you could feel your heartbeat increasing as you passed him the bottle "What are you, slutty police" He looked up at you licking the vodka off his lips, his face turning sour immediately
"Your literally a box Ethan, but hey im not judging you put time into it" She scoffed grabbing the bottle back before he could answer Anika's worried voice was spilling out information about Tara getting taken upstairs by a guy, both Ethan and Layne looked at Chad they all shared the same concered look for the girl
"I expected more from Tara she's usually the smart one" She said as they followed Chad towards the stairs where the rest of the group was located at "He's a little sketchy" Ethan stated the obvious receiving the same look from all the girls
Ethan pulled her back as Chad pushed the guy down as they started pushing eachother "Holy shit, Tara are you okay" She went up to her avoiding the boys, Tara nodded as she fixed her outfit
Layne turned around as Samantha Carpenter stood with a taser, tasing the Frankie as he fell to the floor yelping in pain c "That must of hurt" Ethan said as he finally got ahold of the girl putting his arm around her
"Come on guys" Chad announced as they all followed the arguing sisters, Ethan kept eye contact with the girl "What the fuck" Sam yelled jumping at the girl, Layne could feel some of the liquid that had fell onto her "What's your problem bitch" Layne yelled as Anika wrapped her arms around her so she wouldn't go at the girl
She scoffed as Ethan gave Sam tissues "Hurry up guys before Sam locks us out literally" Anika laughed throwing her head back slightly "Your suspiciously happy" Layne said as she caught up to the girl
"Connect the dots, use that big brain of yours" Anika knocked on her head "Holy shit" Layne said as Ethan came up behind her carrying her as she moved her legs "Im not even gonna complain" Ethan hand was on her thigh carrying her bridal style as they walked towards the apartment building
"What are we even going to do at the apartment?" She questioned swinging her legs "Watch a movie?" He questioned as she chuckled lightly "Your cute E"
"Sorry to disappoint but you can walk the stairs" He gave her a smile before going up she rolled her eyes following his lead "You look ridiculous in the costume" She pointed out as it moved every time he took a step
"Wish i could say the same, but you actually look hot in yours" He whispered loud enough too hear "Took you guys long enough" Quinn whined as Ethan chuckled under his breath
"Are you guys seeing this" Mindy said pointing at yje tv as a guy talked about two teens getting murdered "Go get sam" Tara yelled at Chad who quickly shouted at her from the top of the stairwell who came rushing up
"It's halloween teens are just messing around" Layne said trying to stop everyone concerns but she quickly got shushed from everyone "I agree with you" Ethan said avoiding everyones gaze besides her
"Quinn call your dad, he's a police officer right" Sam suggested as Quinn picked up her phone ringing her dad "Yeah im calling him right now"
Everyone went silent as Sam's phone rang "Why did everyone freak out when her phone rang" Ethan questioned "Dude have you not watched any horror movie" She hit Ethans shoulder as Sam declined the call
"Here he want's to speak to you sam" Quinn passed the phone before looking at Layne and Ethan who where on the corner of the couch "We have to go" Sam said trying to convince Tara not to follow her
"Do we just stay here until the come back" Layne questioned as Ethan got up "Where's the restroom" He asked Layne gave him a weird look as he had been at the apartment multiple times
"Down the hall" Quinn pointed giving him the same looked before turning to Layne who shrugged it off "Can we change the channel Anika, i don't wanna hear about someones murder all night"
