Layne was still over at the Carpenter sister's apartment afraid to leave just in case the killer went after any of them next
She was sitting on the couch with Anika in front of them as they waited for the rest of the group to finish making dinner, she had been zoned out for a while her mind racing with questions
"Your quiet" Anika said putting down her book "Just thinking" Ethan had left earlier to go to Econ, Layne tried convincing him not to go but he still went
"This feels like Quarantine all over again" Layne threw her head back sighing "Tell me about it" Anika moved next to her "So you and Mindy" She pointed at the her as he cheeks went pink
"I don't what we are honestly she's confusing" Anika said Anika had been bummed out after what Mindy told her yesterday in the university parl
"Anika look" She nudged her shoulder pointing at the television "Guys what the hell" Anika said loudly as she turned the volume up
They where broadcasting that Sam as a prime suspect in the murders going around and claiming she was responsible for them, Sam shut off the tv before walking to the table without a single word
Anika and Layne stayed behind giving the group their face
"Im surprised we can't hear Quinn" Layne said laughing lightly Quinn had brought home a random guy from the university to hookup with "Right it's a shocker she has been this quiet with her slutty roommate personality"
Not even a second later you could hear a mumbled moan coming from the room "I take that back their at it again" Layne laughed before walking too the table "How long do we have to stay here" She sighed looking at Sam
"Im trying to protect you guys it's better if where all together Lane" Everyone got out their phone as they all received a notification Laynes face dropped
"Quinn" She yelled trying to go towards the door as someone pulled her back "We can't just let her die" Layne said loudly as Anika fell down pulling her with her as Quinns body landed on top of them
Quinn's lifeless body laid next go her and ghostface stood in front of her. Layne stared at them tilting her head when he reached for her neck, wrapping his gloved hand around it.
The girl cried desperate for air as ghostface slamed her body against the wall, knocking everything out of her. Layne lets out a gasp as trying to find a way out of the situation. She tries to take his grip off of her, holding onto his wrist but he's too strong.
Ghost Face moved their knife on her carefully making sure not to stab her, Layne closed her eyes getting chills as he moved the knife near her face before loosing his grip on her neck as she gasped
the knife moved againt her skin he moved it up to her face carefully before adding pressure making a cut on her face she groaned as ghost face wiped the blood off with its glove before letting her go
Anika pushed ghostface out of the way as Layne fell onto her knees finally getting the much needed air, she let out a cry as she touched her neck whining with the slight contact
He went towards Mindy as he slashed her arm as Anika tried fighting back trying to defend the girl that was clutching her arm infront of her, he stabbed Anika in the abdomen before moving it upwards the girl screamed in pain loudly, as Layne covered her ears
Sam ran towards them holding the only thing she was able to find "Hey!" She yelled catching his attention before smacking him in the head
"Bathroom" Sam yelled helping Anika up they all ran towards the bloody room "I feel like im about to throw up literally" Layne ran towards the bathroom where Quinns hookup laid very much murdered
"Well he's definitely dead" She held her mouth with disgust, Layne turned around her eyes widen when she's approached by a hooded figure who had made his way the other entrance, they tilted their head at Layne
Mindy quickly closed the door as the girls pushed themselves against the door keeping it shut "Why do they always come out of nowhere" As the door knob jiggled they wouldn't be able to keep the door closer for much longer she looked around the room
"The dresser." She muttered pushing herself against the door "What?" The girl looked over confused
"The fucking dresser!" She yells once again as Mindy drags the dresser against the door. The two stay against it.
Ghost Face kicked the door, Laynes whole body hit the door as she hissed in pain, Mindy turned around using her hands to keep the dresser against the door
Sam ran towards the window, looking down before spotting Danny who was in the building in front of her. "Sam! Hurry the fuck up!" She yelled as Ghost Face shook the door attempting to get in
"You three go first" Sam looked at them "Sam you go, we'll be right behind you" Layne reassured her Ghost Face wasn't giving up he kicked the door
Anika cried out as she held onto her stomach "Fuck she's loosing a lot of blood" Layne said loudly as Anika clutched her stomach as the mattress was getting covered "Say something more positive" She groaned
Sam and Danny where telling them to go "Anika go!" She yelled as the girl cried out as Mindy lifted her up "I cant" Anika said holding Mindys face "Lane i can't leave her, you go" Mindys eyes where shiny full of tears
Layne looked down "Lay don't look down come on!" Sam looked at her as she moved slowly as the ladder moved it was obvious she was scared "Im holding it your safe" Danny told her as she moved closer to the window
"Mindy!" Layne yelled looking behind her almost loosing her grip on the ladder "Here" Sam said helping her in "Hey your fine" Sam calmed her down as her breath got heavier, Mindy made it through the window a minute later
"Anika" The girls yelled, the faint noise of the dresser shaking could still be heard from inside the apartment "You can do it" Layne yelled hissed as her throat tightened
Layne looked behind Anika her eyes widening Ghost Face had made it into the room "Don't look behind you keep on going" Mindy told her as she turned around "You have to move right now"
Ghost Face got ahold of the ladder on the other side, violently moving it, as Anika tried keeping her grip on the ladder her hands where slippery covered in blood "Give me your hand" Sam yelled extending it for the girl to reach
Ghost Face flipped the ladder as Anika's hand slipped from Sam's before falling down hitting the ground, Layne turned around not wanting to look at her friend who now laid below them in a puddle of her own blood
