The mist grew heavy and hovered close to the ground. The night was gloomy, dark and filled with an unusual vibe and with a flash of green Peter found himself taking deep breaths as the leaves touched his skin.

Smoke raised from his body, flakes of his clothing burnt to a crisp, he took in a hard heavy breath before parting his lips and letting out a loud, deep roar.

Scott and Lydia shot up and quickly ran over to Malia who stood beside the jeep. "Did you hear that?" Malia shook her head

"I think all of Beacon Hills heard that." Lydia swallowed and Scott looked out at the distance

"who was it?"

"Im not sure. But i think i recognise it." Malia turned to face Scott, her expression real as Lydia urged them to go and with that they pounced off into the fields, following the sound and scent into the forest

"It smells like whoever it is, is burning." Malia confirmed and the same roar bellowed again. The two headed towards it, the smoke from Peters body urging them closer.

"I hear the heartbeat. I know the scent" Malia repeated as Scott continued to wander who it was. "Even through the barbecue."

"How do you think he got here, there's no tracks no fire." Scott talked as Malia kneeled closer.

Peters eyes flashed open and Malia stumbled back slightly "Oh my god" She looked closer at him "Peter? Peter Hale." She continued and Scott got closer and looked at her

"My dad." She looked up at him, Peters body covered in wounds and blood as Scott tried to remember. All of it came flushing back. The bite, the fight in Mexico, burning his body after taking his position as an alpha. "Peter?! He bit me.. how could i forget him?" Scott put all the pieces together

"How could I forget him?" Malia repeated as she looked around more "He has something" She checked his hands, Scott holding one to try and take away his pain as he struggled. Peters breathing came steady, Malia reaching out for the other hand to help with the pain.

They listened to him carefully before she opened his hand and pulled out the keys.

Back at the station Stiles tried his hardest to talk to Karley, who only kept her distance and comforted her friend who later joined the rest of them.

Stiles decided on giving her space and figuring out another way to get out of there. He looked towards the boarding boards, trying his best to put the pieces together

"This doesn't make any sense, this can't be real. This stuff only happens in movies and teen flick TV shows that girls would force their boyfriends to watch." Addley looked down at the ground trying to grasp as much information that Karley had told her about the hunt.

"Remember when we left to come back to Beacon Hills, and I told you a lot goes on here. More than just cheating jocks and surprise parties" She held onto her friends hand, talking softly to calm her.

She looked up and nodded. Karley sighed "There's a lot that i wish i couldve told you. But I tried so hard to hold back to protect you. I knew how much you wanted to meet my friends, my family. But there was so much going on and more than you think that I was so afraid of you getting hurt." She teared up slightly, her grip getting tighter as she watched her childhood friend shake in fear

"Karley you know there's nothing you could tell me that would ever drive me away. I would always listen and believe you. I can adapt to anything as long as it meant that I could be in your life again, more than before. You're my best friend Karley. After your crash, i have never been more afraid of possibly losing you again. I can handle anything. This..." She looked around at everyone on the platform. Flash backs of their road trip and then men on the horses that definitely changed her life

"This is definitely something else. But at the end of it all. You are still here" She placed her hand on top of Karleys and nodded "We can get through anything together. You just have to trust me." She sniffled a little, her eyes flooding with tears as her words came out with truth

Karley nodded "No more secrets. Now that you're here and I failed to protect you from this. I wont let it happen again. If we make it out of here... you have to promise me that this is a Karley and Addley know thing only. You can't tell anyone that you know. Not a soul. And you have to promise that you will believe me and won't be afraid."

Addley was lost, more lost and confused than ever. But she had trust in her best friend. She pledged to forever be there for Karley ever since they were little girls. They told eachother everything, not even the moving about and crash that changed Karleys life got between the bond they had.

Addley nodded, locking her pinky finger with hers and kissing the top of it. Karley giggled through her tears, standing up and taking her hand and leading them behind one of the pillars.

Karley took a deep breath "i cant believe i'm doing this" She muttered to herself, closing her eyes as her hands stayed linked with Addleys. Addley stayed still, rubbing her thumb against her best friends hand to comfort her more. "I promise Karley. Anything you tell me i'm here for you. And if it leads us out of here. I am going to do everything i can to help."

Karley nodded "Okay here goes..." she waited a second, feeling her pupils dilate and switch from their normal to peculiar colour under her lids. She opened her eyes, the grip of their hands loosening and Addley taking a step back

"Oh my god.. your eyes" She stuttered a little, looking from one to the other and shaking her head "How did you..."

"There's more than this. But I can only tell you more if we get out of here. All you need to know is that my differences to you can possibly be the answer. If we figure this out. I can get out of here. I can figure out a way to save us. You have to trust me."

Addley continued to shake her head "I don't... I don't understand"

Karley pressed her lips together and nodded "I know, but you don't have to be scared" They sat down against the pillars "I was when this first happened to me. I had no idea."

"I'm not scared of you Karley" She whispered and smiled lightly "Whatever you go through. I'm here with you." She nodded and Karley managed a smile. "We can get out of here." She confirmed

The two sat and Karley continued to fill her in on small parts of her life rhay helped her understand the situation some more. Addley listened, promising to keep her secret as one of her own before they tried to continue figuring out a plan of escape.
