So...
Remember how I mentioned a new AU in the previous chapter?
Here's some context..
Two online friends (Kirby and Ania) and I have been brain rotting about Omori together a bunch. Kirby's been playing through it while Ania and I finished watching playthroughs (Ania might have also played it? I can't remember though).
One day, Kirby goes, "I'm thinking of making a fantasy Omori AU now."
Both Ania and I hardcore went 👀
So long story short... we developed a whole ass AU from that single statement 🤣
It all stemmed from Kirby saying "I feel like Mari would be a wizard or something," which then prompted us to do some research on different fantastical roles. We determined that Mari and Sunny would both do some sort of magic at first, and then I went "WAIT WAIT. Hear me out... Hero and Kel are princes." And they immediately agreed 🤣
So now I'm gonna go in depth XD But here is a page full of doodles first 😂 as I talk about each doodle, I'll explain the character's role (as of right now)

First up, we have the brothers ✨
Hero and Kel are the princes of Faraway, the name of their kingdom. Hero is the heir to the throne, highly respected by his parents and people, while Kel is the more adventurous and energetic prince. Like in the original game, Kel and Hero's parents are very strict. They want Hero and Kel to use swords, as they are usually seen as the more "glory like" weapons, y'know? Hero has a special kind of sword (which I'll talk about later), but Kel was never really good at using one. So instead, he starts off as an archer, as he is very good at aim. I'll talk about this more later XD
At some point, Kirby, Ania and I joked that Kel should have a gun, and we made it happen skjhdg
He starts off as an archer, and after Mari's death, he decides he's gonna make his weapon more than just a bow. He first makes it into a "Pit bow" (y'know the kind of bow Pit uses in Smash Bros? The one that can split into two small swords? Yeah, that), and then he makes those two swords work like guns. There's a small transformation thing obviously, and we're still working on actually designing his weapon of destruction 🤣
The joke here is... he literally has this OP bow-sword-gun thing, but he doesn't know how to use it properly XD
But yeah! So those doodles are my initial concept designs of the brothers :> They were okayed by Kirby and Ania, so those are their official designs unless something changes XD
