Badriya Abigail Bennett and Bonnie Sheila Bennett is born on February 5,1993 to Rudy Hopkins and Abigail "Abby" Bennett in Mystic Falls, Virginia. When Abby was pregnant, a powerful witch, who was a enemy of the Bennett's, put a werewolf curse on one of the unborn twin... not just any werewolf curse, but The Crescent Wolf Curse. Long story short, the witch was killed by Abby's brother, Kareem Bennett, who is the most powerful warlock in the Bennett bloodline. Consequently on the full moon, Badriya is the first twin to be born as a hybrid(which is also how she got her name) when the full moon pass, Bonnie Bennett is the second twin to be born as a witch. After the twins were born, Abigail decide that she only wanted Bonnie because Badriya is too 'different' to be in the Bennett-bloodline. Kareem, always want to be a dad, decide to bring Badriya, or Riya as he would call her, with his to Atlanta, Georgia to live in.
This is also where she live for all of her childhood.
