NEW ADVISER

What the heck is this? Why he's in our room?

" Sir, Are you our new adviser?" Terisita asked out of curiosity.

" Hahaha.... Well, Yes. I am the new adviser of this section" He shyly said that made my jaw dropped.

" Paano ka namin naging adviser?" I suddenly blurted out that makes me get the attention of the whole class. Again.

" Yeah, Well. The school contacted me yesterday if I still want to get into the school. I said yes that's why I'm here" He answered that made raised my eyebrow.

" Diba, yung mga new teacher. Mga subject teacher, How come na naging adviser ka namin agad ? Diba, Parang unfair naman iyon sa mga newbie na guro?" I bluntly asked that made the whole class atmosphere turn in to awkward.

" Psst... Gwen. Can you please quiet. The atmosphere is getting awkward " I heard Andrus whispered that makes me annoyed.

" Then make it light" I said to him as I looked again at the new adviser.

" Can you answer my question?" I asked him that made him giggle.

" I see. You are Gweneth Marie Zamora right?" He asked

My face turned to sour when he called me in my full name.

What is the problem of this man?

" Yes, I am Ms.Zamora. Now care to answer my question?" Tanong ko ulit dito sabay sandal sa upuan ko.

" I see the rumour is quite true. You are such a feisty woman" He giggled as he put down his things in his desk.

" Well, the answer to your question is because of you" He said that made me wrinkled my forehead.

" Huh?"

Anong pinagsasabi nitong lalaking ito? Is he on drugs?

" I'm here because of you Ms.Zamora. I learned that you put the standard and qualifications that the teacher must have to be the adviser of this section. And luckily I meet all the standard and qualifications that you set" He said as he shows me his perfect set of teeth.

Is he smiling on me?

Nakarinig agad ako ng bulung-bulungan sa klase. Napapikit nalang ako sabay kuyom ng kamao ko.

At bakit nya sinabi harap-harapan iyon? Nagmukha tuloy akong employe dahil sa sinabi nya!

" Teka! Sir, Diba ikaw yung kasabayan ni Sir. Roa sa pag apply dito dati? I saw you before in my father office" I heard one of my classmate said.

" Ahmmm.. Yeah, Nakasabay ko nga si Sir.Roa dati pero hindi ako nakapasok sa school na ito. Yung sinasabi mo na nakita mo kami? That's our final interview" He calmly said

" Bakit hindi ka nakapasok Sir?" Mary Santos asked that made me rolled my eyes.

Gosh! The answer is very obvious!

" Hahaha.. Eh, Mas magaling kasi si Sir.Roa kaya sya yung unang natanggap" He awkwardly said that made me smirk.

Liar!

Natatandaan ko sa nakaraan Kong buhay. Sya yung gurong naglulumpasay sa harapan ng gate ng school after a week ng pasukan. Pinagsisigawan nya sa harapan ng eskwelahan na dinaya sya ni Sir.Roa at nagkaroon ng maling sistema sa pagpili ng bagong guro sa paaralang ito.
