19. Confession...?

Yash did all the preparations for bonfire and then went to Shaurya's room to call him

"Bhai let's go"

"Yash mera bilkul mann nhi h"

"Kl aapne promise Kiya tha bhai now you can't get away with it"

"Acha Ok tum baki sabko bulao I'll join"

"Ok bhaii"

Reema was in Anokhi's room, she came for the bonfire but got to know about Anokhi's situation and decided to stay with her

"Reema mai thik hu vese bhi kl tu jaa rhi h to Aaj thoda celebration bnta h... Tu ja enjoy kar.."

"Anokhi tu-"

"Anokhi shi keh rhi h Reema" (kanchan enters the room)

"But mam-"

"Tum kl jaa rhi ho to celebration to bnta h aur apni best friend ke bina kese enjoy krogi...., Isliye Anokhi Reema ke sath tum bhi chl rhi ho"

"Mai kese? I'm not even able to stand properly.. vaha kya krungi mai..."

"Chal na Anokhi tu bas beth jana vaha.., vese bhi subha se isi room m h, mood bhi fresh ho jaega Tera..."

"Ok fine"

Actually I am getting hell bored in this room but going there means facing him which I really didn't wanted! how can he just change his moods like that... I don't think I'll ever be able to understand him... But I can't deny Kanchan mam too she's the sweetest Sabherwal I met till date, and Reema too deserves a stress free night afterall... So I gave in....

Hotel backyard

Ahir entered the premises with a case of beer, Yash greeted him and said

"Ahir... Shaurya told me what happened with Reema in the last party"

"Yar I'm already regretting that don't make me remember it again..."

"So why you brought these many bottles today?"

"Look these are all beers... after that party Ahir's special cocktails are a big no no"

"Acha acha fine relax"

I shouldn't have scolded her... Shaurya it is always better to apologise than being in guilt
You go and say Sorry just a 5 letter word.. s.o.r.r.y. you can do it!

As Shaurya turns backward, kanchan collides with him

"Arey Shaurya bhaiya sambhalkar... Aur ab aap vapas kaha ja rhe h...? Dekhiye mai kuch nhi sunungi aap chaliye bahr... Lo Anokhi bhi aa gyi"

"Anokhi... But she should be in her room, she needs rest.., yaha kyu.., use chot lagi h na... Kanchan..!?"

Kanchan pretends like she didn't hear his words and moves to Anokhi who was on a wheelchair and Reema was coming with her

"Feeling better now?" Kanchan asked Anokhi to which she nodded in positive as response

"Wo actually Shaurya bhaiya, Anokhi ko room m bethe bethe uneasiness ho rhi thi, toh i advised to join us"

"Hn but doctor told her to bed res-"

Anokhi passed a scary glare to him

Shaurya : "Nhi if you are.. good here let..let it be... Enjoy.. I'll just.."

"Ye kya tha Anokhi..? Was he scared? I mean look at his expressions and how he ran away" Reema giggled

"Reema hasna bnd kr! i don't know what is up with him... Neither i want to know... Tu unhe chhod let's go to Ahir and Yash sir"

Reema and Ahir still had tension between them so I forced them to dance together... Maybe this will sort things up and yes it did happened the way I thought.., Kanchan mam Yash sir, Reema Ahir all were dancing

But his eyes were fixed on me as if someone will eat me up if he averted his sight
This was irritating me now but thankfully Priyanka came and asked him for a dance
Oh wait now my sight is fixed on him.., how comfortably they were dancing I mean the closeness is there something going on between them?
Ughhh Nikki stop what are you doing and why??

I took a beer can and gulped it down and in no time, two down, three down, and a half too
Still they were dancing!

I was not feeling good.., i tried to stand but lost my balance and i again caught his eye...

"Anokhi" he made me sit on the chair

"Chhodo mujhe... Thik hu mai"

"Really, are you?"

"Yes... I.... am.... Aap jakr dance kariye..." in a pissed voice

Shaurya kneeled down to match my level

"Are you drunk!?"

"Yesss.... Nooo... it does not concerns you, you go dance with her"

"It does concerns me! And I'll not go anywhere"

Shaurya put the music off and caught everyone's attention

"Drinks kon laya yaha!?" Shaurya asked sternly

"Me..? But these are beer cans only.." Ahir confessed

"So what! Can't you see her condition!"

"I'm sorry Shaurya but beer doesn't reacts this way"

"She was on painkillers and gulped more than 3 cans! it definitely will react in her system!"
Kanchan I told you this was not a good idea-"

"Ek minute...! Drink mne kiya h... Aap unhe kyu dant rhe h..?
Mujhse baat kriye, dantiye mujhe, vese bhi vo aapka favourite kaam h...

To scream at me whenever you want and then just walk away from there without even realising that it might hurt someone..." (Tears made their way out of her eyes)

"Anokhi let's go in" he tried to help but i refused

"I'll go by myself!"

Another failed attempt to stand on my own

"I said I will help you! now just shut up and come with me!"

He picks me up in his arms and i couldn't do anything but to just stare in his eyes

He put me on the bed and moved towards the door

"So you are walking away... again..."

"We will talk when you'll be in your senses"

"I'm very much in my senses Mr Shaurya Sabherwal"

Shaurya slammed the door and came very close.. like really close to me

Shaurya : "Then why can't you see the guilt in my eyes"

Shaurya : "Why can't you see my efforts to make things right"

Anokhi : "And why can't you see how much you affects me"

Anokhi : "Why can't you see I can't bear your resentment"

Anokhi : "Why can't you see my whole world revolves around you now"

Anokhi : "Why can't you realise that I love you"

"I... I love you Shaurya"

"Nhi acha lgta jb aap mujhse dur hote ho..."

He removed my hands from his arms, stood up from the bed and moved out from the room silently... Without saying a word...

Today it marks One Year when Shaurya confessed his feelings to Anokhi in SAAKK (20th April 2021)
