I hear my alarm beep as I let out a tired groan. I repeatedly tap the top of the alarm, and finally press the snooze button. I sit up and rub both of my eyes, and look at my clock and see the time is 7:00. I get off the bed and walk to the curtain on my room window, and pull them open and say
"Good morning Imperator!" And that's when the sunlight is blocked by the multiple trees surround my house, well that's my fault for moving into a wood-world. I let out a sigh and then say
"Well, here starts another miserable day"
I rush down the stairs to the first floor of my house, which is my living room and kitchen, and I begin making my lunch for work and begin finding my work clothes while the bread is begging toasted in the toaster. I search through my closet and find my work outfit, which is a Mechanic for The Tektonic. When I put it on, the bread is done and I mix it all with the ingredients for a sandwich. I walk down to the basement and grab my toolbox, but that's when I see the side project I have been working for some time, but I'll tell you all that later. I walk back up and get out of my house, with the toolbox in my hand and my work clothes on. I walk over to my car, which not much exist anymore, and drive down a dirt path and to the Wood-City of Plilitrix. I drive into the city and see multiple buildings stretch almost up to the mesosphere. I drive through the city until I arrive to a shop in between two large buildings. I park in front of it and walk in, and that's when I move the sign in the window of the store from CLOSED to OPEN. I sit in front of the register desk, and after an hour, the customers begin flowing in, some scolding me over the stuff they got, but of course I never pay attention, but what I was paying attention to today was the TV in the shop which read
"BREAKING NEWS: SPEECH CENTER ON EARTH BLOWN UP; FATHERS SEVERALLY INJURED"
When noon comes in, I tell my coworker, boss and best friend Ralph that I am going in my lunch break. He nods a yes and I walk out the back door and sit on a bench behind the shop. I pull out my sandwich and begin eating it, thinking to myself of how the hell I got myself stuck in where I am now, feeling like I'm repeating the same day over and over again, with nothing in the world able to stop this.
At the end of the work shift, which is 9:00 PM. I walk into the back room and see Ralph using a wrench on a massive thruster, in which he calls the MK II Thruster. I stand near the doorway and say
"Hey Ralph, I'm heading home. What about you?" He looks at me and says
"Home? I have to keep a good eye on this thruster! We hand this to The Tektonic and we'll make a pretty credit, 30,000 exactly" I nod in agreement and then say
"We'll you do you. Close up shop when you leave" I walk out and Ralph says
"Bye George!"
After driving through the dark night in the dark woods, I arrive at my house, which is just a small two floor house in the middle of the woods. I park in front of it and get out and walk inside and turn the lights on, where I see my house, just like it was in the morning. I walk to the basement door and open the door, where a staircase that lead down was revealed to me. I turned on the basement lights and a smile grew on my face when I saw my side project, my secret one. A large pair of wings that have small thrusters on them. I put my toolbox down on the table and say
"Hey baby, you miss me?" I get no reply, and let out a sigh and say
"Why gods? Why give me this horrible future I am currently living in now?" I get no response and walk back up the stairs, slowly with my head down. I sit down on my couch and turn the TV on, where I continue to watch the same shows over and over again, and all I have on me is a disappointed expression in my face. I feel myself slowly drifting to sleep, but that's when a bright star shines right above my house. I get up from the couch and walk out the door, where I see a comet like star flying right above me. I let out a smile as this is probably the most fascinating thing I could ever see. I love stars. That's when I notice the comet come closer and closer to me, and that's when I see it crash near my house, and in the forest. I go to the back door and look out into the darkness. I walk back in and go to a drawer in my kitchen, where I see a pistol with a flashlight on it. I grab it and go back out into the darkness of the woods, in hopes of finding the comet that crashed in the woods
I search the woods, with no luck of finding the jet. I begin to think I will never find the jet, but that's when I see a bright blue light, glowing in the distance. I run to it and that's when I see a Shellshock Jet, crashed into the ground. I lower my gun and look inside the cockpit, where I see a fluffy creature sitting in it, unconscious. I open the hatch and see it's cracked visor and blood over it. I grab it and slowly pull it out of the jet, where I begin to carry it back to my house. I set it down on my couch and begin searching for any injuries, and I find multiple. I ran to get med kit and my toolbox as this thing seems to be some sort of anthropomorphic cybernetic creature. I begin fixing any damage or injuries the creature has, and all that is left is a power up. I grab multiple cables and connect them to the power box, and the other side of the cable in the creatures heart. I'm about to plug the two cables together, but before that I say
"Listen, I don't know what the hell you are. But don't fail me now" I plug the cables together, and that's when the lights go out in my house. I look at the creature and see it still having a blank visor. I give up, thinking this things dead for good, but that's when a spark comes out from the creature, and a voice comes from the creature
"Power supply located; Activating wake up protocol" The creature begins to move it head slowly, until two eyes appear on its visor, and it darts its head up and see me. We look at each other for a minute, and that's when the creature says
"Hello there! Are you the one who revived me?" I nod a yes and say
"So who are you?" The creature then says
"Oh! Sorry for the rude entrance, I'm a Protogen! A Protogen called Elysium" The Protogen then puts out its paw, expecting me to shake it, and I do and say
"Hey there...I'm George Philips, but you can call me Georgie if you like" A smile appears on the Protogen's visor and says
"I love that name!" I tell her a thank you, and that's when I ask the Protogen
"So your names Elysium right?" The Protogen says
"Or Eli! Whichever you prefer" I then say
"I prefer the name Eli" Eli then says
"Do you...like it?" I then say
"I love it!" Eli blushes and says
"Oh Georgie! I thought I would get stuck with someone bad, but apparently not" I then ask
"Bad? What do you mean bad?" Eli then says with a sad expression on her visor
"Most of the planets I've been on kill my species, and I thought you would do the same thing. But clearly not" We both smile at each other and then I say
"I would never kill you" Chloe puts both her paws on her visor and said while blushing
"That's so sweet!" I close up on her, but that's when I stop and look at the clock, and see that the time is 11:34, I then say
"Oh gods! I forgot about the time, we should get to sleep" Eli doesn't say anything as I stand up and say
"If your gonna stay here for the night, we need to find you a place to sleep" I look around and look back at the couch, and see Eli, sitting on the couch and see the pillows and blanket on the couch, and that's when I say
"Ever sleep on a couch before?" She nods a no and I say
"Well you will now" I ask her to lay down, where her head is on top of the pillow, and I then put the blanket over her. I move the pillow to a more comfortable position, but that's when I begin to slowly stroke Eli's fur, and I see on her visor that she was enjoying it. I remove my hand and whisper to her
"Goodnight" I kiss the top of her visor, and I slowly back away as I see a shocked expression on Eli's visor now, and she whispers back
"Did you just..." I don't say anything and stand back up and walk up the stairs to my room, turning the lights off behind me.
