Stefan and Elena "The News"

New Milestones

Elena's POV
The time with Jenna had made the twins so happy.In three days Aiden knew how to day "dada" and "mama".We were so happy for him but we tried not to give him to much praise as we knew Ella wasn't as developed as him.

(Two months later)
I was filling out college applications while Aiden and Ella were crawling around in Damon's Room.Even though he wouldn't admit it he is so good with them.I just finished my last application for an online university when I heard Damon yelling for me.I immediately started running towards the room.

Once I walked in I saw it my chubby baby boy was walking towards me.He only took ten tiny steps before he fell face first into the floor and started laughing.He was so happy for a boy whose family has been in and out of the hospital for almost a year

I could hear Stefan coming through the front door and yelled down for him to come.He was at my side in a second and he seemed to be filled with joy.These little moments showed us how we were actually parents and not just a dream.

Thump.We all turned around to little Ella who kept trying to do what her brother just did.Nobody thought she could but she stood tall and wobbly walked a few steps into Damon's arms.My eyes filled with tears and I gave her the biggest hug.Our baby just did what every doctor said would take her longer to do.

Three hours later
I just placed Ella in her crib,gave her a kiss and left the room.I was going to go retrieve Aiden from Stefan,so he could go hunting.I stopped mid walk when I heard the sound.It was Aidebs hurt cry.

Please don't let him be bleeding.Please don't let him be to badly hurt.Please let him be okay.I chanted to myself while running into the kitchen were he was.

"WAAHH!!!"

I run in and see Stefan with a pacifier putting it in Aiden's mouth.He instantly calms down.Stefan sees the worried expression on my face.

"It's okay he is just getting a few more teeth in.Its nothing he hasn't done before."He said in a mockingly way.

He hands me my now sleeping baby,kisses my forehead and goes to hunt.I go lay Aiden in his crib and head to the living room.I pull out my laptop and look through my emails and see I have one from a college.I open it up and read it.A full scholarship in any major I choose.Maybe things are picking up.

~Sorry this is really just a filler chapter I PROMISE it gets better.So what will happen next with this family?What will Elena do at school?What will Stefan say about the scholarship?
