It's Josie's birthday today! April the 30th!!
"Which one will you buy? The red ones or orange ones?", asked Jen.
I clearly knew which ones I was going to buy.
"Orange ones", I told Jen as she nodded.
"Good choice!"
Me and Jen have been talking and getting along more this past week.
She actually isn't such a brat once you get to know her.
"I know", I replied, grinning.
"Is that all you need or-?", asked Jen.
"That's all."
Josie was going to love this surprise!

"Hello Alex", I said as he stepped away from the door so I could come in.
"Josie is in her room", Alex said as he winked at me.
He winked at me?!?!!
"Ummm thanks", I said as I just sat down in the couch to wait for her to come downstairs.
"KATE!!!!", yelled Josie as she ran downstairs.
My jaw dropped when I saw her.
She was wearing a beautiful orange/pinkish dress, hugging her body in all the right places.
I blushed as she caught me staring
"You l-look gorg-geous", I said, which made Josie blush too.
"Thanks", Josie said as she hugged me.
"Why are you here?"
"Why wouldn't I be here", I smirked at her.
"Yes but the party doesn't start until 7 pm, you knew that right?"
Party?!
What party???
"P-party?", I asked as Josie said, "Didn't I tell you?"
Did she?!
Oh well, I might have been too distracted with the surprise to realize it.
"No", I replied as Josie frowned.
"Anyways its today in 4 hours."
"D-Do you want to come with me to the movies?", I asked Josie as she gave me a shocked face.
"Really? Right now?", she asked as I nodded yes.
"Yes! Of course!", Josie said as she hugged me once again.
I grinned, clearly excited.

"Thanks for taking me to the movies Kate, I've never been here", Josie said as she leaned her head on my shoulder.
"Anytime", I replied.
If you told me I was going to be dating a girl a month ago, I would have thought you were either crazy or drunk.
It's been 2 full weeks since we started dating!
I wonder if Josie feels the same way that I feel for her.
Just then, I heard a small snore coming from my shoulder.
I looked down and there she was, the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
