2 weeks after that.. THAT. You know. Don't make me say it again. Nagsimula na ung construction nung commercial building na project ko.

Andun ako sa taas at idinidiscuss sa mga foreman kung pano ung mangyayari. Ganito ganyan.

"Romina." Napatigil ako sa pagsasalita nung makarinig ako ng isang nakakairitang boses. Nameywang ako at humarap.

"Why are you here?" Tinaasan ko ng kilay si Lance. Nakasuot lang sya ng casual na cotton shirt tapos pants at combat boots. How did he manage to look so oozy with only white shirt and pants? OA, pang model ang peg e.

"You can look at me later. Now, now, babe. Let me handle that for you." He even winked at me. OMFG. DID HE JUST CALLED ME BABE?! Dieeeeeeeeee. Since when did I became a pig? WTH.

"Eww. Don't call me that." I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want me to call you then. Mahal, sugar, honey, darling.. What?" I can see the amusement in his eyes. And as I can see.. He's enjoying this torture.

"Just shut up. That would make me happy."

"Really?"

"Stop playing stupid, Lance."

"Uhm, excuse me Mr. Tiu and MIss Young, may lunch break tayo para mag-LQ kayo." 

"We're not even together!" I accidentally snapped at one of the foreman.

"Oh, sorry po Kuya Tony." I smiled apologetically then shot Lance a look. You'll have your time! Just wait till I get my hands on you!

Malapit na sana akog makatulog nung biglang may kumatok sa kwarto ko.

Ugh. Ang aga ko pa naman umuwi para maaga akong makatulog tapos may iistorbo sakin!

"Tita! Tita! Tita!" - Natalie

"What? I'm tired!"

"You have a visitor! C'mon~ He's handsome!" - Nat

For goodness sake.. Ang landing bata. -_________-

Pero dahil na-curious ako.. Sinuot ko ung night cover ko at lumabas ng kwarto.

"Sino bang----" My eyes narrowed.

"What are you doing here?!" I gasped when I saw Lance Philip Tiu sitting pretty on the couch!

"Hoy, Bae halika ka nga dito!" - Erol

Agad naman akong bumaba ng hagdan at lumapit sa kanila.

What are you doing here?  i mouthed to him.

"By, bakit hindi mo sinabi sakin na nililigawan ka pala nitong si Lance. Ang highest paid CE sa Pinas!"

"Nililigawan?!" Ako at Erol

Parehas kaming nagulat ni Erol. Pero bigla syang tumawa.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Akalain mong may manliligaw pa pala sayo pagkatapos ni Red?"

Ay puta. Bastusan? Medyo below the belt yun ah.

Natahimik ako. Leche ha. Punyetang Erol to! Hindi nya ba alam ung mga bagay na nakaka-offfend.

Tumayo ako at nagpunta sa labas.

"Hoy! Bae joke lang!" Narinig kong pahabol nya.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

Hindi ko parin matanggap sa sarili ko na ganun parin ako ka-affected when it comes to Jared kahit na apat na taon na yun.

I was busy remisniscing things when I suddenly felt something on my shoulders kaya napadilat ako.

Isang itim na coat.

"It's cold outside." Umupo sa right side ko si Lance at tumingin din sa langit.

"I'll tell you something.. amazing." Napatingin naman ako sa kanya.

"You were my college crush." Ngumiti sya sakin. Pero this time, hindi ung ngiti na nangiinis. A geniune one.

"What?"

"Remember, Jabez? Classmate mo sya at batch mate nyo ako. Note that he's also my friend."

"And then?"

"Don't you remember? He introduced you to me once before our second encounter on the firm."

My eyes widened. How's that possible? Matandain ako sa mga mukha. Pero, sya? Hindi ko sya matandaan.

"I was planning to court you then. We were, I think.. In our 3rd year.. Pero sabi sakin ni Jay, wag daw muna kasi may pinagdadaanan ka pa." Ngumiti ulit sya sakin.

What the hell? Hindi ko talaga matandaan! Must've beent the stress. Ugh.

I motioned for him to carry on with his story. "Nakakatawa mang sabihin,  It was love at first sight for me." Napailing sya.

WHAT THE HELL? What the heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell?!

"Tell me you're joking, Lance. Just freaking tell me!" I shouted at him.

"I won't. And I want to do that now.. The thing I should've done a long time ago." Hinawakan nya ako sa magkabilang balikat at..

"I want to try my luck. i want to court you MIss Young." 

My jaw dropped. What the actual fuck is happening?
